The sort of captain we lack at Man Utd now, if we had someone like this maybe we would be good and not turn up whenever we want, he'd make sure we played well every game.
No, there are definitely players at United right now with that mentality. Bruno is absolutely fixated on winning, maybe even more than Roy; Lisandro's got that determination too. And it's not the same, but there's a glint of steel in Rashy's eyes too, and Garnacho's. There are players you can imagine would've loved to play under Fergie. The difference is that with Keano's United there was a consistent, brilliant manager who made sure everything else was in place for characters like Bruno, Licha, Rashford - those kind of players - to flourish. Put prime Keane in this modern United team and he would be just like Bruno - a furious, boiling ball of energy with high standards, just like Bruno. But he'd still lose matches, just like Bruno, because the rest of the things that a successful team needs aren't there; manager, coaching staff, stability, etc. This United team is more than good enough to win things, big things. It's not the players; it's everything else.

No relay races (4x100) for the older Primary School kids. They had to do standing Long Jump because they don't have a Long Jump pit. No 200m/400m races. No High Jump. I was like it's a different culture (I come from Zimbabwe) but this is insane. Our Sports Days (both Primary and Secondary School) would be held on a Saturday. It would be an all day affair starting from 0900hours and finishing well after 1700hours with a lunch break in-between. Trust me it was competitive to the bone and there were no participation trophies being handed out. At the end of the Athletics season there was an inter-schools competition (eight schools from the local area that would meet and compete at the National Sports Stadium). It would be another full day of events on a Saturday with all the track and field events on show. We would have up to 5000 people present from the eight schools minimum. Schoolboys competing for their schools with absolute pride and some fighting in-between lol.
