    That Cantona goal... class

  • @wakstar1

    People forget - Keane was quick of mind and fleet of foot. He was a superb footballer. Did all the basics extremely well, at pace and he would link and create play to allow the wide men and Eric and Ole and co to score the goals.
    Back in the 90’s in a lot of ways Roy Keane was the difference. No one quite had a leader like him- an enforcer but also a talisman and a commander in battle.. He’s the one domestic player that every clubs fans would have signed if they could.

      @SuperGoatGazer I know what clips you mean. I seen them also and it's made out that keane and Cantona bottled it against the crazy gang. But we can see here both Roy and Vinnie can take a challenge and they don't always turn around for a fight. Real men.

    • @SuperGoatGazer
      @SuperGoatGazer 2 месяца назад +1

      @ Yeah, I’ve seen Keane a few times at Villa Park when he played against Villa and he didn’t have to play hard against us.
      The first match I saw was when we beat them 3-1 on the first day of the season (I don’t actually remember if he played in that) when we had Savo up front.
      Second time was when Giggs and Beckham too that free kick at the same time.
      Good game but Man Utd chased and screamed at the ref every time they wanted a decision. It really ruined it for me.
      Jones was actually better than people realise but obviously he prided himself on being a hard man.
      But the big difference in both of these famous clips is that Keane was just a lot better than Jones. If Keane gets sent off it’s going to be a struggle.
      One player I’ve been watching a lot recently is Gattuso. He gets a bad rep but a lot of the times when he got in trouble was when he didn’t start it 🤣

      Did you bother to watch the video. Keane made numerous effective tackles, played a key role in the 1st goal and hit the bar. Jones did not make a single effective contribution. Even his attempts to foul largely missed

    Strange, bully boy Roy Keane normally lashes out or stamps on players like Southgate, he done none of this against Jones. Keane showed his true colours when he got done by an Arsenal fan then grassed him up the police then in court. Pure grassing snide

      Southgate came in at Keane with an illegal two footed tackle and should have been sent off but Ref Ellery never sent off English players so Keane taught Southgate a lesson he deserved

    keane was a better footballer than Jones but don't delude yourselves, you manyoo once upon a time glory hunters, the only way keane would stand up to Jones is if Jones was lying down, with the ref standing by. keane was a coward, like most bullies and would run screaming for his life if Jones or any of the real hardmen of the game approached him with intent, away from the safety of the football pitch.

      The real hardmen of the game 😂 Jones certainly wasnt one of those. Always in the side, when players not lookin, too slow to get to the ball...and the united players paid absolutely no attention to the clown😂. Whether Keane is a hardman or not, he dominated his position for 15 years. Wtf did jones do!

      @@adrianmarrinan7707 You're deluded, a true man yoo fan. Keane didn't face up to Jones like he did with Shearer, for example, because he was scared shitless of him. Jones (FA Cup winner) wasn't half the player keane was or play in a team of great players but he made the most of his meagre talents. He's had a decent career since retiring as an award winning actor while Keane, who btw called his manager "an English cu#t" now makes his living as a rent a quote clown. Perfect. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😊🤡
