@@mem5860 You can make the argument that Ronaldinho was just as good of a playmaker(iq, vision and passing) as Messi. Messi might have the edge but Ronaldinho is not too far behind. They are pretty equal in terms of playmaking but difference is Messi played with better goalscorers.
Quick change of pace and goalscoring, yeah messi is better. But Ronaldinho was still pretty good in those departments as an attacking mid/winger

Ronaldinho has always been a world class playmaker along with Messi but its often overlooked due to his dribbling etc. Ronaldinho had insane IQ and playmaking only rivaled by a few and one of them is messi. Even at his time at AC Milan, Flamengo and Atletico Minerio when he was on a decline his playmaking abilities remained top tier. Unfortunately when you play with Boriello, Deivid and Jo, your stats tend to decrease as they arent the best teammates. I got Messi and Ronaldinho as equals in the playmaking department. I would Put Messi being better in ALMOST every other category as a player.
