Incredible reaction as always! I’m glad you went with the music video instead of the live performance as your introduction to this song. No better way to understand its meaning. However I will say, experiencing it live is a highlight of their shows. This is such an important song for the Avenged Sevenfold family. For me, this period was when they went from “great band with amazing musicians” to “legendary band with amazing people.”
Also, I recommend checking out St. James. It’s yet another tribute to The Rev, but unlike the last two you’ve done it’s upbeat and energetic - more of a celebration than a mourning.
That's a great way to put it. I love when artists can transcend music for people. I think that's the connection they hope to convey in making music and that's the only way they know how to do it- relatability.
Courage mate to sit that out ❤ 🥺 Respect 🙏 An unforgettable moving song. You had me tearing up man Syn’s haunting solo at the end is timeless. Master of his craft.
Condolences my man. I lost my Brother and Father to Fentanyl overdose. I know your pain. If anyone has an addiction seek help, before it is too late. RIP Rev, Your friend, and my Father, and Brother. See all of you one day.
RIP the Rev and so sorry for your loss. I will recommend several Avenged songs for you, but I prefer you to react to the live version. I know you might prefer the music video version, but some Avenged music videos cut some parts and don't show the full version. So for the live version I recommend Live LBC as you reacted before (this is the full concert link, ruclips.net/video/YTvJSMOUlbI/видео.htmlsi=DmYP5ZIpRZsSBG3Y ) don't worry, the audio sounds clear and you can also see the lyrics by activating subtitles. The songs are: Unholy confessions, bat country, seize the day, gunslinger, almost easy. The setlist of songs is in the video description. For the song that has a great message you're asking for, I'd say Nightmare (music video) is the one
Your info is correct! In addition to that, just to let u know this song lyrically is a reply to Fiction the last song made by the Rev. He told Matt Fiction should be the last track of the Nightmare album (3 days before his passing) hence Matt singing in So Far Away “A final song, a last request”. It’s a very beautiful but also very heavy song with the Revs original voice from the demo singing and basically saying good bye. Definitely worth watching but maybe not now considering you ve lost a friend quite recently. So sorry for your loss. 🙏 An up beat song classic by them is Chapter 4 and as for inspirational, Exist from their Stage album is gonna send you mentally to some place else. The song’s entire theme follows the chronological order of the existence of our universe from nothingness until now. Lyrics don’t come in until humans start to exist. And it’s a Neil De Grass Tyson colab! It’s an experience for sure! Also Cosmic from their newest album is both upbeat an inspirational. Great reaction, take care!
All of these are amazing recommendations as well! Chapter Four was the first song I heard by them (thanks Madden 04), Fiction is incredibly poignant, Exist is a masterpiece, Cosmic is the most moving song I know.
@@iamdondawson their catalogue is so vast and unique, one can simply cannot go wrong with A7x. The Hail to the King album is a minor exception in my opinion but you can still find gems in there!!

Listen to St James, it's about the rev but it's upbeat and celebrating the amazing person he was
This! not their biggest song, but it is such a cheerful song about his feats
