Sirius was being an asshole to both James and Peter, and he did deserve to be slapped. But on the other hand; I would say it's not a good idea to hit someone who's been abused even if they do deserve it. I don't think Sirius meant what he said and James probably didn't mean to hit Sirius either. But all of them were worried about Remus and their emotions were running high. Maybe they should apologize to each other. Or perhaps they're like Harry and Ron in the fourth book. They're just such good friends that a spoken 'I'm Sorry' simply isn't needed. It was a great skit. Intense in the first half and humorous in the second. Well done. And get better soon Sara!
Yeah, James should've hexed Sirius here (and I think that's what he would've done), since Sirius can probably take that better. Maybe with a silencing charm. Obviously the actors aren't magical, though, so they probably didn't think of it (and they only slapped this skit together the day before).

He was digging at Peter's self worth, which he already struggles with, which is just a shitty thing to do to a friend. Of course it was a stressful situation, and they're all just teenagers here, but that's why I think an apology from both Sirius and James is in order. That way they can learn from that situation and handle it better if something like this comes up again in the future.
