You are a big and obviously strong man Bjorn and I think your guidance is important for all people, not just men. As a 70 year old female I find this video about fear particularly interesting. I live alone in the oldest mountains in the world; the Appalachians in the U.S.. I think you are spot-on that knowledge can reduce fear. I'm surrounded by black bear, red wolves, poisonous snakes, spiders and everything in-between. I see potentially scary things every day but with knowledge and understanding these animals and even plants have become like parts of an orchestra each playing their role in harmony. I'm always learning how to play my part better. It feels powerful and exhilarating to know how to respect and dance with this natural world. I know you know that feeling. It's a pleasure to follow you.

In 2017 she had gathered up enough courage to attend Sakura-Con an anime convention up in Seattle Washington. I met her there face-to-face. She turned up to be as real and genuine a person in reality as online. We went to some panels and events at the convention.
The next year at an event called the Masquerade ball I decided to tell her my true feelings. I was fearful about what she would say. I figured she already had a boyfriend in her life. Because she has a very loving personality. To my surprise when I told her my feelings...she accepted them. Me a legally blind autistic writer and anime fan was accepted by her for who I am. And now we've been together five going on six years.
All because I chose to have the courage to tell her how I felt. That remains a great moment in my life. I wouldn't trade my girlfriend for anything.

Respect is earned. I do generally respect everyone, but general respect is something that can be revoked or increased. It all depends on the level of respect that another person or group of people give me in return. Courage is necessitated. It should idealy be something everyone has. Especially with the way things are going now, we need to have strength and courage, and be able to navigate the situation through the fear.

During the stupidity epidemic I witnessed many who refused to think for themselves. They were afraid of the dis-ease of illness, or job loss, or being ridiculed for not accepting the "science". It was disheartening to watch men I once respected allow themselves to ruled by fear. My working definition of courage is action in the face of fear. They have my compassion, but they have lost all respect. I recognize that I do fear many things, but I refuse to submit to the irrational fears that most, it seems, cower from. Never surrender freedom for comfort!

Fear and anger and all the "negative" emotions are actually a gift. They have to be controlled and that's what we struggle with, but the emotions themselves were given to us as part of a survival strategy. If a person learns to control them effectively its a way to bring your demons in line together with your angels and become a significant force. Tremendous video sir.

A study has been done over the years to how most people act or speak or take things... & here is what i thnik to make of it all....
This : Here is where typically rage & anger come from, instinctively sadness or fear, & it can become nothingness & emptiness, if you allow that to "sucome / come over you,", To understand & know & be able to address the fear & make it as a norm for you, you'll start to become familiar & used to it to a point it doesnt hold you back from doing or accomplishing something or just to a point where you're not afraid anymore,

I am personally well prepared for most contingencies and can support family and close friends for quite a while. However, if my beliefs come true this will not be enough so I am working to grow my homestead with an eye to total self sufficiency. I think a lot of fear is from the unknown. If you've never been somewhere before, you don't know the lay of the land, the way, what the people are like, etc then it can feel daunting and you will irrationally feel afraid (which is the same emotion as excitement apparently). But when you do the thing that frightens you, you will find it's not bad, the people are nice and the place is nice, etc. Also, young folks are more likely to feel fear as their hormones make them unsettled and unsure. It's just a natural thing and they will grow out of it and conquer it as long as they grit their teeth and force themselves out of their comfort zone. Thank you for a great video. Amanda. X

I don’t think it’s irrational though because the unknown can present real dangers,a ‘built in’ fear/anxiety reaction is normal, the question is how we manage it and also stop it being a habit formation.
