I've had signature scents come and go. I find that I get tired of scents a little too quickly, and if I wear any one fragrance too much, I hit a point where I don't want to come back to it later. Previous casualties include Robert Graham Fortitude, City Rhythm Miami, Dylan Blue, and Spicebomb EDT

I have gone through so many phases with Dylan Blue. I just save that one for the heat now because of how well the citruses in it pop.

Signature scents when you have multiple bottles of fragrance in my opinion is one to three fragrances that you spray on when you are conflicted on what you want to wear, or just simply enjoy the scent and wear it a lot. Usually they are good for all 4 seasons, but I think it really just comes down to what you as the wearer enjoy best. Thanks again for both the amazing content and giveaway Justin! Hope you have a great holiday season!

Having a signature scent is like owning a personal story in a bottle. It's an intimate expression that weaves into your identity, evoking memories, emotions, and leaving a lingering imprint on those around you. There's a unique comfort in knowing that a particular fragrance is solely yours, crafting an aura that reflects your essence. It's more than just a smell; it's a part of your narrative, entwined with moments, emotions, and the fabric of who you are.

Regarding signature scents-Dior Homme 2020 has been my signature this past semester. The way I would define a signature scent is as a fragrance that one never regrets wearing. Sure, there are other options, but you can’t go wrong with your signature scent.

Hey Justin! First of all, thank you for doing a giveaway! I think it’s awesome how giveaways give everyone something to look forward to especially in such strange times we’re living in unfortunately. Now as for me , I’ve never really cared for signature scents. I personally prefer wearing something different on a daily bases. You can easily become burnt out of a scent after wearing it so much. Also, my mood changes throughout the week and I tend to base my fragrance of choice off of how im feeling that day. Thank you again

As for my knowledge signature scent is a perfume you wear every day. It has the potential to become such an integral part of your day to day life that leaving the house without it feels akin to heading out with your wallet & car keys.
This is a article I red recently by Jo Fairley, co-founder of The Perfume Society and Editor of fragrance magazine The Scented Letter.
“The first is a signature scent, which is what people recognise you by - they can walk into a room and know you’ve been there. People remember you by these fragrances, and when they smell them they think of you. It also means people aren’t going to screw up your Christmas present because they’re going to buy you something they know you love.”
An additional benefit of having a signature scent is not having to put too much thought into your daily fragrance, as you’ll always have it to hand.
I don't have any creed fragrances in my collection. Yesterday I checked out and 'Himalaya' is stunning and wish I become the winner so I can use it as my signature scent. I'm available in 'Fragrantica'.

When I first started looking for a cologne I wanted a niche but one signature scent because of the cost but when you learn more and your taste and smell advances over time you do want more options. Decanting scents has given a way to try new scents before investing in a full bottle. So a few signatures for different occasions and your mood like you mentioned is the way to go. Awesome video and thanks for the recommendations

For a long time I liked to switch between my fragrances every day. But one day I decided that it is nice when you can have a certain scent that reminds you of different periods of your life. For me, that's Naxos because it works everywhere depending on the number of sprays you apply. So every time I get a whiff of my bottle, it reminds me of the times, places, and people I would wear it around, and all the memories we made. Cheers Justin!

I personally don't have a signature scent because fragrance can make me feel and experience in different ways for different occasions and locations. I don't always feel like Dylan Blue, or i might not want to take every person on a date wearing the same thing. I do love the signature scent genre or style of fragrances. Like your Zaharoff Signature pour homme, Kajal Faris, Mancera Aqua Wood, BDC Parfum and so on. But i love smelling something different each time to make a unique experience and i completely understand why someone would stick to one fragrance. This hobbie is expensive, subjective, unique and never ending. I've never tried Creed Himalaya, sounds like a pleasant scent. Thanks for the video and giveaway.

    Interesting topic!👌🏽
I would say a signature scent is the fragrance that speaks for you without words. It defines you as a person! To others it could be a personal scent memory to remember friends and love ones. I just love how a fragrance scent could go so much into someone’s life and the joy one gets smelling different fragrances!

Years ago, I used to have signature scents. The one I stuck with longest was probably Guerlain's Vetiver. But as my collection grew, I began to like changing up my scent too much to ever really have a signature scent anymore. But I appreciate the point of a signature scent, as it's nice to have people associate a particular, well-chosen scent with you.

Having a signature scent is very important because it’s your essence and first impression when someone meets you. That memory lingers especially when you’re well tailored and groomed because scent alone is not enough to leave a lasting memory on someone. Being known for being properly groomed and well hygiene is key as well. A few of my signature scent is le labo sandal 33, PDM greenly, zaharoff royal X/xxx .i often wear 2nd soul but like to leave that for special occasions… I appreciate your efforts and continued content, keeping us scentdogs entertained…

    Hey Justin,
I think the last time I had a signature scent was in high school, and since I started collecting, I wouldn’t say I’ve had one. There have been times I got overwhelmed by my collection and downsized by about half since then. When it comes to collecting, I do believe it’s difficult to have a signature scent, but it’s far easier to have a select number of fragrances I find myself gravitating towards. Part of being into fragrances comes with wanting to experience new scents all the time.

I find with me when I have that moment of "wow I love this scent, I've been smelling it for hours and not only am I not tired of it I'm looking forward to the next waft." Especially for the first time it makes me that much more excited for the next scent that lands the same.

I recently bought Himalaya and have been wearing it as my signature scent. I’ve been wearing cologne for over 20 years and this is the first time I’d say I have a signature scent. For the job I do I need something that isn’t so abrasive in your face but leaves a nice scent bubble around you that smells masculine. This is it. I own 50+ colognes and I love this so much. I love that it is one of the lesser known or talked about Creeds. It’s wonderful. If you appreciate it for the 7-8 hrs of longevity it gives, it’s wonderful. It’s not a beast in your face with huge sillage, but it does exactly what it is mean’t to do. It’s a year round everyday, everything scent. So so good! Wouldn’t mind a backup bottle 😂. Buy it and try it Justin!

Hah! What a great question! Yes, I've been thinking more and more about signature scents. As my collection grows way beyond my self-established limit of 30 (now at 65) I want to pare it back down to that number. My plan is to slowly replace the large number of redundant cheapies by meaningful niche representatives of each major category. One category that I gave much thought to is signature scent. My thought process was to pick something that represents me at this moment in life. I ended up picking Amouage Epic Man and every time I wear it I get more convinced it was a great pick. Classic and modern, green and resinous, relatable yet intriguing.

I don't really do a signature scents anymore. I used to go out buy a scent and wear it until it was gone. Now I've got about 20 frags (and counting) and like to switch it up daily. Way before I got into the frag community I rocked Chrome as a daily driver. My last signature scent before I really became a scent enthusiast was Burberry Touch. The big thing for me now is checking out old and new community favorites cheapies, designers, and clones alike. Just started to step into some niche, Cedrat Boise is my first and it lives up to the hype! It's an expensive hobby but I'm trying to sample and not just buy every full bottle hypebeast that comes into my sights lol. Love the content brother! I'm new to your community, and the fragrance hobby as a whole. I've been mulling over this idea of a signature scent for a while, and still struggle with what to choose. I feel like it needs to meet some criteria of being affordable since it will be used a lot, not overly powerful to the point of obnoxious, but also being something you love to wear. I feel like I might have a few signature scents, but it's definitely hard to have some of them be in that list when they are so expensive. Love your content though, and your guidance has been extraordinarily helpful.

I like the idea of a signature scent in theory. Being able to have people identify a fragrance as the scent of you is enticing, but I think that plays into wearing fragrances for others and not for your enjoyment. I like spacing out the wearing of my favorite fragrances so I can more fully appreciate why I love them with each wear. That said, I think having “signature” fragrances for different occasions in your life is very helpful, as the occasion can help set the stage for a great fragrance.

I lost a sister to cancer and her signature scent was Hanae Mori Pink butterfly. I keep a small decent of that in my collection to remind me of her. My personal sig scent is a combination of Jo Malone Grapefruit layered with White Jasmine and Mint.. Thanks for another great vid mate.
    Cheers

No signature scent for me, but I do have a small circle of "go-to" fragrances that change with the season. Some vetivers like terre de Hermes or vetiver gris in the spring, imperium/Elysium or paco xs on hotter summer days, and my favorite season is fall and winter. That's when the big strong dogs come out. Too many to go around but I love tobacco and Arabian scents. Thanks for all the content Justin, glad you're here for us.

I got into fragrance back in 2021, started collecting by saving and buying bottles recommended by influencers. Got to a point where I wasn’t always enjoying what I bought blindly, and with the help of you and other RUclipsrs, I began sampling and testing. I realized finding a signature scent is a journey, something you can confidently spray on whenever and feel good. And after all that being said, Dior Sauvage EDT is my signature at the moment 😂 smells good and easy to spray. Exactly what I need from a signature. Thanks for the content!

Years ago, when my collection was very limited, I had a signature scent. Now, I try to mix it up. I still have a couple that I sometimes gravitate to more than others. Like you, I only have a decant of Himalaya. Thanks for the opportunity!

I love the idea of signature scents and being able to tie that scent to a memory. But I also think it gas all personal preference and your interests will change as time goes on

Thanks for sharing and it was another great review. I have a number of fragrances and I love to switch up as well. My old faithful fragrance Issey miyake Intense. This is my signature scent. I still get compliments and I enjoy wearing it. It works well on my skin. I don't wear it as much, but it is inexpensive and smells great. Thanks again

I’ve pondered on the thought of having a signature scent. But having only wore JPG Le Male & Gold Curve most of my teenage, young adult life. And now a fragrance enthusiast and collector with a very sizable collection, I can’t find it possible to wear the same two days in a row!
Great video and keep up the good work JC.🫡💯

Always glad to see Bottega Veneta PH get a mention. Actually a very decent winter scent with that dark pine distinctiveness. Eau Sauvage perfect for a daily wear as well. And although I absolutely see the appeal of having a single fragrance to condition others to your presence, I'm always weary of the potential for it to backfire when there are negative associations involved. Also doesn't do much for mood expression. If I'm going to wear a fragrance, I'd want to project to myself and others how I want to feel in the moment, not necessarily have feelings (or the lack thereof) imposed on me by a monotonous scent. Nevertheless, a signature is still great for conditioning memories and I love using them for that purpose, both professionally and recreationally.

Finding a signature scent is why I started with fragrance in the first place. But once I discovered how fragrance can take your overall style to the next level, I gave up on the idea and started buying more bottles. Someday days you want to chill, some days you have to stand out!

Absolutely convinced that everybody should own one or two signature scents that fit every occasion and season. Just something you can grab anytime and be fine with it. For me it's definetly Club de Nuit Intense Man, as it was one of my first fragrances and will always be a good choice. The Aventus DNA in this case just fits everytime and still makes you stand out with your scent trail.
Very nice giveaway and happy holidays everyone.

Signature scents are something I frequently look for when buying/testing fragrances. I do think it definitely gravitates more towards people with a collection because it’s hard to choose sometimes when you have a lot of options. I do have my signatures out of my collection though depending on the situation and if I think I need a more “mass appealing” fragrance or not

Signature scents are fine..I go through spurts of maybe a few days in a row up to a week.. I work in a hospital and urgent care so I try to keep a low profile with signature style scents, however I always switch it up. When I don’t know what to wear gentle fluidity silver does it for me, as I haven’t regretted wearing it yet.
    Good video justin

    Hey Justin!
I like to think of my signature scents as more of a "reliable" scent, as I love to explore other fragrances/houses but always have a few I love to come back to. I always get excited when I try a new scent and think it has a possibility of becoming one of my "reliable" scents. Happy Holidays and cheers from Chicago! :)

No matter how many fragrances you have, we all have favorites that we reach for more often than others, and these fragrances become what other people know you for. That's a signature fragrance imo. Mines are Dior Homme sport, Bois imperial, 40 knots. Thanks Justin for the great suggestions. I also purchased Ormonde Jayne Man bc you said it was a signature scent worthy. 👍

I’ve been searching for a signature scent for a while. Sometimes I think I’ve settled on one (or two). I’m drawn to simplicity and it’s nice having a fragrance to count on for everything. Thinking less about what fragrance I want to wear for the day means I can focus more on other things in my day to day life. I also think having a signature scent allows you to feel confident about whatever that said fragrance is and that you smell pleasant no matter what. Also, there’s definitely scents that I have associated with special people in my life. When I catch whiffs of that scent somewhere else, it directs my mind toward that special person in my life. So perhaps I want to have a scent associated with me too. There’s something charming and precious about that.

I've had signature scents in the past, some seasons of John Varvatos Vintage, Burberry Touch, and Bill Blass Amazing por Homme wafted about almost daily in my youth. As I got older my collection grew and the signature scent became a thing of the past.

Signature scents for me encapsulate the harmony of a fragrance and unique body chemistry of the wearer that create a timeless olfactory experience. Yet, I can still appreciate a variety of fragrances that fit the dynamic changes in life.

Signature scents can be a great thing. I think having a mass appealing, yet slightly unique scent allows for you to have something memorable about yourself. It’s like a signature jacket or accessory, something that others can remember you by while adding a touch of personality to your wardrobe.

Thanks. I like choosing one or a few signature scents. But not because the smell defines your personality or enhance your attractiveness. Rather, I like selecting a scent to wear regularly because it creates a memory connecting you with those close to you. Certain fragrances remind me of specific people or places. Even friends' homes have their unique scent. And some places also have their own olfactory branding.

When I was younger I had a signature scent it was Fahrenheit by dior 😂 a classic.
But these days I'm having trouble keeping myself to just one scent. It very much depends on my mood.
I love how I can sit and watch TV and try to figure out what scent to wear the next day 😂.
    Great chanel, keep it up!
    Bless ❤

So far I like wearing different scents almost everyday. Don't know if I could just wear one as a signature all the time. Be it different moods I'm in at the time or the seasons. I enjoy different scents, so probably will never have one.
Keep up the good work, I've learned a lot watching you. Thanks.

I was looking for a signature scent. Outside of the "me too" fragrances. You know those fragrances that everyone says they have, and everyone else says "me too". I had put my nose on Zaharoff's Signature Tabac and Zaharoff's 2nd Soul. At the same time, my girlfriend bought me a bottle of Vertus Vanilla Oud and all three fragrances are amazing. I looked online to find areview about all three fragrances and suggested wearing and I discovered Justin's channel and his reviews on alln3 fragrances... let's just say you were spot on with the descriptions. Kudos
I started following you immediately. Thank you.

Hey Justin! Ive just gotten into fragrances heavy for only about a year now. But ive been wearing Versace Pour Homme as my signature scent since 7th grade when my mom got it for me and my brother. I’m now 27. But I think there can be signature scents for everyone if you like to reach it more often than others. My nose is starting to develop now as I’m collecting more fragrance, but I think signature scents are something that people recognize you for and fits your personality the best. Even from owning multiple bottles I think everyone has their favorite top 3 of all time, so I think signature scents can be a real thing! As YSL Y edp or LV imagination are my signature scents now.
