    I usually decide on the outfit first and then the perfume, but the choice for both is based on the occasion. If I'm going to have lunch at a beachside restaurant, I opt for lighter, refreshing clothes and perfumes. However, when heading to a work meeting, I go for a more formal outfit and a sober, professional fragrance.

    I will plan my outfit for the next day. I will then look at the colors and certain fragrances will pop into my head that associate with the colors. I will then take into consideration the occasion, my mood, and weather. It’s a process but it works.

      I’ve been doing the exact same thing! It’s like fully acclimating yourself to the day. The colors and scent you wear after knowing what the weather will be etc. I also try to match up the kind of music that suits the day as well. It’s a very mindful purposeful way to make a day more memorable and enjoyable.

    I work in the medical field and wore prada l'homme leau for work when I first got into fragrances. Now I'll wear a range of stuff but just watch the sprays. I'm not wearing interlude black Iris (one of my favs) to work though 😂

    Bois Imperial and Gentle Fluidity Silver are my favorite signature all year round. They do not smell like blue fragrances, does not smell outdated and they fit well my fashion style
    For the Cold weather Sartorial by Penhaligons and Divine Vanille from Essential Parfum are great 👍 if you love PDM Herod it is similar (same perfumer) and share also some similarities with Vanilla Diorama by Dior

    I don't have a "signature scent" perse. I have a 6 perfume rotation; Modest Une (Sauvage), 9PM (Ultra Male), 9AM Deep Dive (YSL Blue/Bleu de Chanel), etc....
    I use them as I crave them.
    My most intoxicating, and addictive one is Ambroxan EDP.... The scent is delicious. I mixed about 7 pumps of it into my 8ml travel atomizers with the rest being filled either one of the perfumes listed above. The Ambroxan names them last longer, abd smell better.

    Hi Omar, regarding the ‘fragrances should have genders’ point you made, while I tend to agree, it has to be noted that when it comes to categorizing certain notes or perfumes as a whole as male or female, really depends on marketing and the times you live in. For instance, most modern ‘men’s’ type fragrances are sickingly sweet and could be typified as more female if you were to ask someone in the 80s. While classic female marketed perfumes like Mitsouko for instance, are much more masculine in todays perfume market than back then.

    • @curlyhairdudeify
      @curlyhairdudeify 6 месяцев назад +2

      Perfumes from the 80s are not sweet as modern sweet male perfumes are. Modern manga perfumes that are sweet are sweeten by black vanilla or tonka beans.
      Perfumes from the 80s have a powdery, lipstick, Easter lily, rose type sweetness to them.

    Just got my pre order for Mr. Elegance in looking forward to getting a new signature sent.
    About this video, I think they could have broken down this video into 2 or 3 parts as to not have so much information crammed into one.
    I find that there will always be people that will blindly buy a brand out of loyalty. I mean no offence Omar but the way you are selling Atrium is very much incentivizing a brand loyalty mentality. If you truly want people to buy your products purely based on their love of the scent of a fragrance, you should change your model to, they can't buy a full bottle till only after they have bought and received a sample. You could hold a bottle in reserve (for say a week or so) till they try the sample. if they don't like the fragrance the bottle goes back on the market. If they do you could take the price of the sample off the price of the bottle. But I know that's a tall task. Easy to suggest much harder to actually do.

    • @peaceduke1
      @peaceduke1 6 месяцев назад

      I have edp and parfum. Tbh, they are both smell amazing. But I hate performance of edp it lasts for 2 hours and then it smells as powdery (100% original) and I found a lot of people say the same about edp. Recently (1 month ago) I bought 150ml parfum version and like it more. It has better sillage, projection and performance in general. if you have already tried them then decide which one you like more. If you'd asked me I'd say - Bdc Parfum for the spring\winter\autumn and BdC edt (for every season) and especially for the summer.

    • @TheHCSaint
      @TheHCSaint 6 месяцев назад

      @@peaceduke1really appreciate that thank you. How many hours do you get with the parfum?

    • @peaceduke1
      @peaceduke1 6 месяцев назад

      @@TheHCSaint Usually, I spray only one time on my neck (side or behind neck) and this one spray covers my neck skin and my sweater collar. So, I can't accuretaly tell you how many hours I smell it on my skin because it has strong sillage for 2 hours (3-5 steps) and I smell it for the next 3-4 hours and I think I go nose blind after 2-3 hours of wearing it. When I go outside (~6 hours passed after first spray) and breathe fresh air I can smell parfum again. On my sweater collar I smell it for 2 days and u catch these weak whiffs when you move your head. I wear a synthetic winter jacket and as I said I spray one time on my neck\collar, on my jacket collar I smell it 2-3 days and sometimes I think I don't need to spray again because I like the drydown on the next day. Have you tried Dior sauvage and Dior sauvage parfum? Edt - screams, parfum - closer to your skin and sticks longer on your clothes with weak sillage and projection, same thing with BdC. I don't recommend you which one to buy, we have different noses, tastes and preferences. I have 3 of them BdC edt\edp\parfum and I like them and would restock edt (for summer) and parfum (for winter\spring\autumn). if you like more edp (drydown) then buy it there is no right answer.
