Serial Killer Rodney Alcala was on a TV show in the 1970's The Dating Game I believe & he won but he creeped out the woman so much she refused to go on the date with him. She had GREAT instincts!!! This guy going on TV reminds me of that!

I think you're mistaken in calling him a farmer- he lived on the same council housing estate as me (and at the same time). He was just a casual farm worker or just as often unemployed. His son really hated him, his wife was terrified of him- both with good reason. My brother in law was interrogated after the Scoveston Manor killings as he lived nearby and had a firearms license. The police were clueless for a long time, despite Cooper's well known criminality and violent tendencies. His family still suffers the stigma of his monstrous crimes. They are good people. It is him alone that bears responsibility for his actions. He made his family live in real fear for decades. I suspect they will never find peace until he dies and there is absolutely no way he could be released and return to hurt them or others any more.

When DNA shows that the perpetrator killed, I believe in the death penalty. For violent rapes, castrate.

Castrating doesnt stop rape, only removes risk of unwanted pregnancy significantly. Removal of their genitals and reproductive parts completely, to pee sitting seems more fitting. I mean if were talking barbaric punishments that is. Not that i have put much thought in that... 😶‍🌫️😏

We all know religions add to the abuse because that surpresses their nature rather than fix it. Also abuse is mostly about power and control rather than just the sexual aspect. Religion is a perfect tool to abuse for these preditors so that they dont have to take ownership for what they did. Religion also gives them direct acces to vulnerable People they can exploit. One possible innocent explanation:
The shorts belonged to the father.
The daughter borrowed them or mistook them for her own, and wore them..
The shorts were altered with turnups.
The material inside the altered hem containing the DNA survived any subsequent washing.
