I'm a huge fan of the casting director going out there way to find people who 100% didn't look like the subjects.
😂😂😂 must have been tough to reject all the lookalikes
I don't understand... the actress who played Tracie was the spitting image of her.
I guess they are casting their relatives and mates.
"She's perfect!"
"What do you mean? She looks nothing like her?"
"Exactly!🥸"
I started the video and saw this comment and was like "I mean yeah the actors are usually pretty bad" but then I actually saw her and *jesus* this actress is just the worst choice, what were they even thinking
14yrs for viciously stabbing a man to death...??! Absolutely outrageous sentence! The fact that she is free and allowed to be a member of society while her victims family continues (and will forever continue) to live with the consequences of her actions is NOT justice. Life in prison should mean life...
🎯
It’s Europe! All liberal! Too much love and kind to the murders.
Well said 👏 👌 I agree 👍 💯
@@yunjko the UK justice system along with that of the rest of Europe continually labors under the delusion that EVERYONE deserves a second chance.
Murder victims do not get a second chance.
Totally. It’s appalling. Tragic for the family.
The British judicial system does victims dirty, pretty much every murder case. It’s unbelievable that a person can stab their lover 41 times and lie about it, then only serve 14 years? That is not justice. She should get out when the man she murdered gets out of his grave.
Truth!
I agree. You won't have to feel alone; USA is catching up with you soon. The judicial systems adore the criminals and despise the victims. Thanks, Democrats.
If it were my loved ones I’d kill the murderer. 14 years probably be out in less than that for good behaviors
I agree completely. They should get a minimum life sentence, where it actually means life as in the remainder of your entire life.
Indeed ! This woman viciously murdered her fiance by stabbing him about 40 times, so why was she released from prison after only 14 years to continue her life as if she had never committed a crime? That is not justice : it is a crude insult to her victim and his family !
Serving only 14 years in prison is hardly sufficient justice for the viciousness of what she did to Lee and his family.
Agreed! Had this been a man who slashed his gf to death, he would have gotten more time. It’s like judge/jury are softer on female criminals as if they’re any less guilty. Smh
Two clowns giving away the main facts of the story. Get a life
Don’t call it life. If their elegable for parole after 14?years
I'm sure she'll learn her lesson, and come out a great person.
I feel no family gets justice as the person she murdered can't be brought back BUT the UK law could lock them away for life ...Why should she be allowed to start over while Leigh can never do that ... His child lost a father and his family lost a son/Brother.... UK laws are insulting to victims families and the public ... I get why some take the law in they own hands... Our laws drive them to it.
They keep calling her attractive, i'm not seeing what they are seeing.
Yeah, and now she's out of prison with a new identity, married, and enjoying life. SMH.
It's crazy. No point in having police, courts, trials if the punishment doesn't adequately reflect the crime.
@@Romulan2469 I read a comment about that says a murderer should be released when their victim gets up out of their grave. I do believe in redemption and forgiveness in criminal justice though, and that people can change, but I think in this case it went way too far the other direction.
Yay!
take it from me, if you get involved with a person with a temper that hurts you physically do NOT be tempted to think they will change! they may beg you to get back together but don't do it. they won't change and they'll just hurt or even kill you.
With you there. My ex-husband attempted to kill me; splitting my head open with his knuckles; I thankfully had enough in me to call an ambulance & have never seen him since, despite losing everything. Leopards do not change their spots.

And gets out in 14 years cause she was a “model prisoner”. Such crap. Like who cares that you’re a “well behaved” prisoner? You took someone’s life for God sake!
Uh plenty of people do less than 25 years in jail for murder WITHOUT being well behaved.
And time well-behaved is easy w/o room/freedom to act out.
@@quickchris10 Being well behaved in prison is actually not easy at all. A lot of times people will force you to not be on your best behavior. And you have no choice but to defend yourself, and sometimes strike first because you know someone is trying to get you. Do the guards and jury know that, nope.
@@alexexcess7620 if you stay in your cell and don't associate with anyone its easy to stay out of trouble
@@davidwoermansr Do you not realize you are forced to have a cell mate, go take showers etc? You obviously don't understand how prisons in the current day work if you think it's just super easy to stay out of trouble. If things worked like how you thought then there wouldn't be a ton of r*pe in prisons.
I am from a broken home with lots of violence against my mother and I did not become a criminal in any way shape or form. I also had a step father . Each and every individual is responsible for their individual behaviors 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Same. My mom chose men that were violent against her & married them. I had a very volatile childhood. I was also bullied hard in school. I'm not a killer. I didn't abuse my children or other loved ones. Some people are just built differently. It's easier to blame others.

well your situations weren't the same tho. i agree theres no excuse for murder, but this would be like telling someone "i was also in a car accident but you don see me in a wheelchair"
Who else thinks it’s appalling that murderers can kill, get life in prison, and subsequently get out in just 14 years??! To me, that’s like a slap in the face of the victims. Totally bad form!!
👏👏👏
It's disgraceful, is it any wonder that people risk killing someone if they are only facing 14 years for doing it.?
The irony is Tracie Andrew’s and Lee Harvey’s daughters are now both good friends and have continued their friendship despite the awful incident that happened between their parents. So at least something positive came out of a horrible story.
Harvey's daughter is disloyal to her father's memory. Yes I know Tracey' daughter isn't the murderer but I couldn't imagine befriending her.
@@judibiggerstaff8054 dont be so silly.
@judibiggerstaff8054 that's a friggin weird thing to say.
That is very mature of them.
I can’t fathom why most people in particular professionals and “experts” get so caught up and fascinated with a suspect’s appearance, how they look…. Based off that alone people are completely hesitant no matter how much of a struggle it is to put together a reasonable argument that one is innocent. As a true crime junky I see it over and over again. I just can’t come to grips with this as if any person dictates how attractive or innocently they look at birth. Personally I actually put ZERO stock into how pretty or handsome anybody looks in regards to a murder investigation
I think it's the halo effect at work that has people believing, "this person is so physically attractive, how could such a tragedy happen to them? And how could someone so physically attractive then be the _cause_ of such tragedy?!"
But I agree with you. It is annoying when people, especially professionals, get so wrapped up in outward appearances.
Perhaps it's also just the editing.
My dad told me years before I started dating no matter how good she looks someone somewhere is sick of her shit and a good friend told me if you're going to get married marry a fat ugly woman nobody will be sneaking in the back door as you leave for work and in the winter you have insulation between you and the drafty window and damn if I shouldn't have listened to them

This is not only accurate but I believe there's a science to it.
Look how many defendants dress up in clothes, glasses and hair styles they would never, normally wear.
Often this is at their lawyer's direction.
Life = 14 years? She was terrified at sentencing? This is a disgusting judicial system!
How could she be a model if she's got a bulldog bite?
Wannabe model. Totally deluded. Actually thought she was attractive
She used to sell perfume from a cart in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch. Locally known as The Tart with the Cart. True, I lived in Redditch at the time.
A mate of mine who worked in the gym I used was asked out by her. Like he said at the time he had a lucky escape. Poor Lee didn't.
Never knew she worked in the kingfisher center. I used too drink in the pub where they argued before she killed him. It’s a Miller and Carter steakhouse now.
14 years for murder? That's insane.
The fact that she is only 27 shocked me almost as much as finding out what little time she received. She looks 50. Being evil really ages you I guess
agreed,can be tiring yes
Get help
@Leanne Swift What does that even mean?
Sorry but I am 52 and look much better than her
She didn't look 50, she only looked a few years older than she was. I'd say she looked like a typical 30 - 35 year old working class British woman whose face had been beaten, without makeup. Take any 27 year old woman, put her in jail, punch her in the face a few times, don't let her shower or put on any makeup and that's about what she'll look like. She's 53 now (as of Feb 2023) and I'd imagine a decade and a half in prison must age a person, so she probably looks 60 now.
That is complete and total BS. She should be in prison until the day she does.
She just looks straight ANGRY in court. Also she looks 55 instead of 25. Guess that’s what evil will do to ya
*pardon the present tense as I know the footage was from the mid-90’s
She's actually very...unattractive. Aside from that, I feel horrible for her partner and then the children impacted by what happened 😞
Unattractive? She's the ugliest minger ever to crawl the earth
How is that in any way relevant?
Both Lee Harvey and Tracie Andrew’s daughters are actually good friends now. So at least something positive came out of a horrible story.
Aspiring model? Seriously? Oh, model prisoner. Ok.

I remember this back in the 1990's ... It was clear it was her when she gave her story in the police conference ...But what disgusted me even more was the pathetic prison sentence she served...She gets to start again and be with her child...Leigh lost his life, His child lost a father and leigh's parents and family lost they son, brother.....She gets 14yrs. 😡
It’s Lee, not Leigh
Out of all the Episodes I've watched this was the hardest, because the posturing Dr. Yardley does in this episode. She goes on condemning Tracie Andrews as a violent, lying, controlling, narcissistic, psychopath. Then near the end does a complete 360 and claims Tracie has been completely rehabilitated when there is no evidence to suggest that she ever truthfully confessed or showed genuine remorse. I've noticed Dr. Yardley in other episodes making up a lot of her own theory's as well as if she knows these violent criminals personally rather then relying on Forensic Psychology or Scientific Evidence.
Can you put the time stamp where Yardly states Andrews is rehabilitated? All I heard her say was ‘IF” Andrews accepts what she has done then she may be able to lead a relatively normal life if she doesn’t hurt anyone else as this murder has affected so many people. In fact at the end she states Andrews knew exactly what she was doing and a “crime of passion” should not be the label here.
Totally agree, she also could come across if you didn't know the case that everything she says not only is gospel but as though she knows exactly what happened when only doing what we all do and read about these cases caus we are interested.
Life in prison in Britain is 14 years...🙄👎
Our justice system is a joke
Or less.
Ridiculous! She should never have been released. It's the Harvey family who are really serving the life sentence..
In the words of Bob Dylan : -
"You know it makes me feel ashamed to live in a land where justice is a game"
I remember when this happened as we lived in the area and I had a gut feeling that she was not telling the truth.
I find the sentence incredibly lenient considering she lied about the circumstances. The distance of staying 25 miles from Lee,s family is also not far enough in my opinion. It should be at least 100 milea
World stage? If it doesn't pass the international waters, you can hardly call it world stage.
If she could flip so quick so much anger she could again, you take a life you spend a lifetime thinking about it in prison where you can do no harm.
You certainly can continue to do harm in prison ... just mostly to your fellow inmates.
Copy-paste from the Wikipedia article on Tracie Andrews: "When plans to release her were announced, a fellow female inmate and former prison lover of Andrews said that Andrews had continued to act possessively and aggressively in relationships while in prison, revealing that Andrews had attacked and strangled her after seeing her speaking with her ex-girlfriend. The woman said she was opposed to Andrews's release and warned she would kill again."

Yes so I heard. This crime also happened in my town Bromsgrove. When she got convicted nobody was surprised. Most people around the town were saying her story just didn’t add up.
If I were her husband, I'd watch my back. Does a leopard really change its spots?
@@toffeeblue2201 no it doesn’t. I think it’s a travesty of justice for poor Lee Harvey and his family she only served 12/13 years. This wasn’t a quick lash out or crime of passion, it was a violent, sustained attack. Even after he tried to stumble away whilst losing blood and consciousness, she followed him and stabbed him in the back, like some wild animal. I think she stabbed him 47 times. Get a pillow and imagine your holding a knife and plunge your clenched fist down 47 times, it takes forever and full mental consciousness too know what your doing. That’s what she did too that poor lad. He was a young father of just 26, his whole life ahead of him and she took his life and a little girls daddy away. The only good thing that came out of the crime is Lee Harvey’s daughter and Tracie Andrew’s daughter are really good close friends. They have no hate or vengeance for each other and Tracie Andrew’s evil crime brought two victims closer too each other. Apparently even Tracie Andrew’s ex the father of her daughter warned Lee to dump her and stay well clear as she was known for violent temper.

A meaningless title as we have so many of these "most evil killers".
And nice to know that "One of the world's most evil killers" was allowed to walk among us again, after only 14 years.
That is such a good decision.
This person isn't even close to being in the top 1 million most evil killers that have walked the earth.
@@alexexcess7620 Absolutely agree.
Did you really think that they were going to keep a blonde English woman incarcerated for life?!?
Hahahaha...oh Lord!
"What fools these mortals be!"
The UK along with New Zealand have among the worst judicial systems in the world when it comes to handing down sentences. In the US in a death penalty state she would be on death row right now.
I mean that's just the title of the series, these crimes series never really live up to anything. The American clickbait is even worse
Life sentence, but only 14 years in prison. 14 years is far from life unless you're already 75 years old. British justice is lame.
Absolutely shocking that she only got 14 years! What the actual.....?
This would have been much better if the actress representing her had resembled her. She didn't at all, it was very distracting and broke up the flow of the story.
It made a good story look cheesey
My aunt's friend was a prison PO and was sent down south to this prison Bullwood Hall, during the time Andrews was in there. She got out for good behaviour cause she fooled many but said she shouldn't have ever been allowed out as she was far too unstable
I saw this on Deadly Women...her ex tried to warn him about about her his exact words were haunting 'Never turn your back on her ' bc he knew how jealous and crazy she was...And I thought it was just me. The UK rarely give out "Life" sentences....those 10 y/o boys that killed that sweet little 3y/o stayed in a juvenile detention til 18 and released...wth No justice for the victims they seem to cater to the Criminals that's crazy
I think i have this right, but stand to be corrected if i'm wrong:
When hanging--('capital punishment)--was abolished in the UK, sentencing for murder/s were ''commuted to life in penal servitude''. In other words, ''life without the possibility of parole'', or a whole life Tarrif.
Slowly, but surely, over the years this has been reduced to the most laughable level, by the judiciary, and politics playing a part.
Whole life sentences are almost invariably given to persons or people who murder police officers or, indeed, police officers who kill. Terrorism could also carry a whole life term.
There are still quite a few people in UK prisons that are ''lifer's'', who will never see the light of day.
Why call it a life sentence when clearly it isn't😠
It's a life sentence in that she will be under certain restrictions and orders. If she breaks the terms of her licence she can be put back in prison and could potentially stay there her whole life.
What was she hoping to model? Balaclavas?
I really hope that neither of the their children were present when all the violence/fighting was going on. Poor babies! God bless them!
The sentence she received illustrates how the UK has lost its way.
I cannot believe she is now free to walk the streets! My heart really goes out to Lee's family ❤ xxx
She isn't that pretty to me, stabbing someone you love 41 times and serving 14years is a joke.
Would a man be released after stabbing a fiance 42 times? I doubt it very much. She even tried to play the usual cliche of self defence from an abusing man.
He sounded like a kind, stable, good man - I‘m so sad for him, that he couldn‘t get away from this ghastly hag in time. There must have been lots of women who would value a man like Lee properly.
It was 6yrs in my 2nd marriage, till I found her entire past was all lies! I wasn't husband #2 I was #4 and #3 died "suspiciously" there was no pregnancies, miscarriages,

I’m an American (a Texan at that) and our judicial system sucks as well, but the UK just seems to be too lenient, even with the most vicious crimes. She should have gotten life, end of story. The British judicial system is too damn weak. What a shame.

Does anyone in Brittan serve an actual sentence fitting for the crime they commit? This is the 5th video I've watched now where the British "justice" system handed down a joke sentence.
Is it just me, or are prison sentences in the UK really, really short? I mean, a sentence of "Life" should be a lot longer than 14 years.
Yes sentences in the UK are pathetic. There is no justice at all
its just a term thats used in law. 'Full Life' sentences are the ones who never get released

We have the same in my country where life is not life, BUT if someone is dangerous they don't get out.America is not always that great. There was a mom, dad and baby boy that decided to leave my country to go to the US and live. So this boy grew up in America and when he was an adult he killed his mother and put in prison. Then the US decides they don't have room in the prison and sends him back to where he came from and notified our police, only he had done no crime here so the police could do nothing. It didn't take long for him to meet a nice woman with 2 young boys and move in with her. He killed them all and dismembered them and their body parts were never found. I spent a fair amount of time in the UK between 2005-10, mostly in Scotland. Reading the tabloids and papers, I often was flabbergasted at how light criminal sentences were. I now routinely see this in the USA as well at times.
Perfect example: Texas convicts a person for voting mistakenly to five years in state prison while 2nd-degree homicide can result in 7.5 years with the convict out in 3.5 years with good behavior.
It's bizarre.
US rapists in some rare cases get probation.
The sentences for many of the US Capitol insurrectionists are another example, some getting a tap on the wrist with an admonition not to participate in a violent political coup against the United States of America and its citizens any time soon.
People getting stiffer sentences for first-time DUI.
First-degree murder should be life in prison no parole, and no exceptions.
Yes agreed. It is crazy how the justice system works.
No mention of the police finally finding the knife in the petrol tank
I never understood the British police technique of parading family members after a tragic death.

When you stab anyone 42 times you're intending to kill them. The chances that I'm wrong are 0 to none.

She's definitely not model material....She's actually kinda homely, this is the UK, though...lol!
Yeah because there's no hugely successful models or super models from the UK is there? 🙄

14 years? Not right.
so if it wasn't premeditated like the experts say, why was she carrying a knife
She hid that in her boot 👢 and disposed of it in the toilet at the hospital. The bloodied imprint of it was found on the inside of her boot, later. Of course it was premeditated why else would she have a knife on her?
What Tracie did was terrible, but I'm not entirely sure why they featured her in this series. Lots of women have committed murders exactly like this. To list her amongst monsters like John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer just doesn't seem right. I mean, Tracie isn't even in prison anymore because she got such a light sentence on the 1 single murder she committed. But then again some could argue that's only because the British judicial system is.. lacking lol
It’s the fact she lied to the public, the police, even Lee Harvey’s poor mother and even held his mothers Hand in the police conference. That is pure evil. The fact she’s been released after so few years is a insult to Lee Harvey. Imagine if that was your son, brother of father she stabbed too death? How would you feel about her then?

The US isn't any better. One example is the serial killer, Rodney Alcala. He was given a life sentence, and released after serving 2 years. He was back in prison 2 months later, then released again because he was deemed to be safe. He had two death sentences overturned, and was released. The guy is a whack job, and the judicial system is just as bad.

Juries need to understand this when deciding a convicted person’s sentence as premeditated crimes tend to get longer sentences if the premeditation is deemed to take place months, weeks or days before the actual murder, but a person can “decide” to take a person’s life within seconds of doing so. If I get into an argument with my spouse and within that time frame I decide that I’m going to stab him to death, not out of self defense, but because I’m angry and I want him gone, that counts as premeditation, though I guess it’s easy, in that case, for a defense attorney to say it was a crime of passion in the moment, and therein lies the problem
" If I get into an argument with my spouse and within that time frame I decide that I’m going to stab him to death, not out of self defense, but because I’m angry and I want him gone, that counts as premeditation"
That isn't how premeditation works at all. That's still having a reaction in the moment. If you had already planned to kill him before you had the argument..THEN that would be premeditation.
Or, if you had set out to kill SOMEONE, anyone, and brought tools to do so, and then decided in a couple seconds of arguing with a random person that they would be that victim...Then that can qualify as premeditation.
But not your example. Your example is literally the definition NOT being premeditated.
@@ResidentChinaski Lol glad you understand. Not sure what OP is on about. They literally defined the exact opposite of what premeditation is.
She stabbed him 42 times with a pen knife she was out to kill him
@@ResidentChinaski if they take a weapon with them and use it to "overkill" you'd never convince me it's not premeditated guess for everyone that gets jury duty they're lucky I get out of it on the first question they ask I've been told go home everytime
