Hey mate, my wife and I love your videos, the mix of land based and boating is cool. I really enjoy the cook ups too, personally I would like to see more of them incorporated into the videos, or even stand alone videos if you wanted more opportunity for content. I’m always looking for new ways to cook the stuff we get locally in Perth and I think you and Dom have the best local channels for that. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey mate 👋 far to kind & I really appreciate it, I also love a catch and cook and I’d love to make every vid a catch and cook, how ever I have 4 young kids at home so my place is full on madness making it really hard to film at home as you could imagine 😂🎪🤹♀️it’s a full circus at mine haha! I’ll do my best to squeeze as many catch an cooks in a possible though ✅ thanks heaps for the kind words really does keep ya motivated 😎😎👍🏻
@@rush.gang.fishing I reckon it adds to it. I think my favourite moment from your videos was when you were prepping some fish on your bench and said “it’s making a mess but who really cares” and after a pause one of your kids said “mum” 😂😂

It was good fun man, good change of pace as well. Nice way to spend a couple hours for sure 🎣🎣 I got mark to put it up on the drone fishing page to see if we can find the owner, and 99% sure we have found him. A couple things scratched into the drone and he’s picked them both so he can take it back if he wants it, I really don’t need to loose another one 👊🏼😂😂🐟

Haha first time drone fishing I find a drone haha 😂 drone is now back with his owner managed to track him down through Facebook! Believe it or not he lost it over a month ago in Mandurah and I found it near moore river a month later hahaha

My question (and it might be more for Mark) why do you fly so high on the way out? Surely you could get it out there just keeping a couple of m between sinker and water and not create so much slack?

G'day mate, yeah I can answer that! It's a recommended safety thing mate. Just in case it falls out of the sky you can hopefully have time to use the controller to catch it so speak. I've always flown about 20M for this reason and it has certainly helped before! But yeah good idea to stop the big slack on windier days, it's just not very safe...
Ahhh, that makes sense. More for drone protection than anything else.

What drone is this ? Is it hard to get into drone fishing for someone who has no experience and what drone would you recommend thanks mate
Hey mate this is a Maphoex drone, extremely good bit of gear but not cheap haha, this was my mates drone, drone fishing is fairly expensive to set up but once you have the right drone, rod & reel you are away ( unless you sink your drone haha 😆 ) it’s a really fun way to fish but for the same price you could buy a small boat 😂 I had a drone for fishing a couple of years ago but lost mine in the ocean so I told my self never again! Would highly recommend getting plenty of practice with drone before dropping baits maybe even take some drone fishing lessons to fast track the learning curb, thanks for watching mate hope this helped haha 😆 👍🏻😎
how do you drop the bait?
Hey 👋 the drone has a little loop on it, you place part of your fishing line through that, fly your bait out & when you are happy with where you are you hit a button on the controller & it will drop your bait, fishing drones have came along way it’s pretty incredible what they are capable of, thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed 🎣✅😎
