Really useful video - especially the safety clip use. Does it require a 'calibration dance' or is it self aware of its position as part of its internal start process? Thanks
Thanks Rob! The Aeroo Pro doesn't require calibration before every flight. It will occasionally ask you to do so in areas of high interference, but not often 👌
Thanks for the support Murray! We're expecting an update on deliveries tomorrow; keep an eye on our Facebook page 👀 As for the safety clip, good question! We should have run through that in more detail; the pressure of being on camera got the better of me 😅 The use of a safety clip just adds an additional release point, and will detach your line from the drone in the event of a tangle, snag or if you ran out of line for example. It's not necessary, but we recommend it for additional security! We'll do a short video on this in the future 🙂 If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out! Cheers, Harry
@@Aeroo_Drones does it really fly 10 km? Maybe a video about that? And how many times you can send it out for fishing per battery? Keep up the great work
Hi Bigboi, The Aeroo Pro comes with a landing pad. Since this video, it has been updated and is white/silver on one side, and black on the other 😊 However, you could definitely make your own landing pad if you wanted to.
Hi Shreddy! The Aeroo Pro is not completely waterproof. However, it does have a corrosion resistant coating to withstand constant sea and salt spray over time. If you have any other questions let us know: we're happy to help 😊
Hi Jase, Aeroo Pro can be flown without connecting a mobile device. You will miss out on features like the live image transmission, but if you want to get straight up in the air, fly around, film, drop and auto-return home safely, you do not need to link your phone. Please note however your phone will be needed if any pre-flight calibration is required and for safety we always recommend connecting your phone. Let us know if you have any other questions 😊
Hi Rath, Sounds like we're not the drone for you! The Aeroo Pro's payload release mechanism is definitely not a gimmick and serves it's purpose in the drone fishing niche 🎣 Thanks for checking us out 😊
DO NOT TRY IT if you value your drone. At least check some drone fishing fail videos first, the common issue is if line touches water, it will drag drone down to the water
Hi Torchkoff, Thanks for the comment! The Aeroo Pro is very easy to fly and specifically designed with drone fishing in mind 😁 In terms of the line touching the water and dragging the drone down; we recommend using a safety clip like we have in this video (00:26). This adds an additional release point, and will detach your line from the drone in the event of a tangle, snag, or unexpected tension like you have mentioned. If you have any other questions let us know. Cheers, Harry
Looks like fun and a pretty easy set up. Can't wait to see that shark reeled in. 🦈🦈
Thanks Joe! We'll have to up the hooks and stakes for the next tutorial 🦈

don't you need to calibrate it as the previous version every time before flying?
The Aeroo Pro doesn't require calibration before every flight. It will occasionally ask you to calibrate, but only in areas with high interference 😊
Does the landing pad have to be a blue circle or can I just paint a white h on a mat or something?
Hi Bigboi,
The Aeroo Pro comes with a landing pad. Since this video, it has been updated and is white/silver on one side, and black on the other 😊

Does it flip itself over like the swell pro if it lands upsidedown in the water?
Hi Shreddy!
The Aeroo Pro is not completely waterproof. However, it does have a corrosion resistant coating to withstand constant sea and salt spray over time.
