I love the small ship. I sailed on Regent and loved it. I was a a solo traveler and was able to easily met people because you see the same people over and over again. I’m going again on the Splendeur next year.

I LOVE regent. I am going to Alaska in 2026 on the explorer. It will be our 2nd cruise with them. I really like the no crowds and no lines. Hope you had a great time.
Chartreuse is a fine dining experience but food everywhere is superb. Service is fabulous. When you factor in that everything is included, excursions, drinks, tips the price difference shrinks a lot. Regent is simply first class travel.

You know what I would love for you guys to be able to do. I would love to people. I don’t know a good year or a couple years and do an Antarctic group cruise and go ahead and let people know in plenty of time for those of us that would have to say But I know I watched Nate and Kate or Kate and Nate and they did one and the ship they were on was built just for the Antarctic. The captain was very seasoned and I can tell you that ship was just. Absolutely beautiful. I don’t remember the name of it, but you can go on RUclips and pull up the Antarctic. That was just amazing. I forget how many days it took them to get there, but I can tell you it’s absolutely not a cheap cruise, but it is definitely definitely something worth saving for.

Setti Marie is quite popular especially with no reservations required, but I didn’t catch that you went to Chartreuse, Pacific Rim or Prime 7, which are very unique experiences. There’s no extra charge but must reserve. They are not to miss!

Wow, I’m glad you guys are able to do some more higher end cruising because I can tell you with what NCL is doing now. I’ve only been on the list and I’ve done the Haven and this last year I decided to do like six cruises to Alaska instead of doing one in the Haven so I basically did three week back to back on the NCL Bliss and they shut down the observation lounge at 11 o’clock at night and they don’t reopen until like 536 the next morning so there’s nowhere for people to go if they just wanna kinda hang out if they have an inside cabin just to kinda hang out and hang out and see NCL doing so many bad bad bad bad bad decisions and now with the Haven, they are just they’re so overpriced. I would rather go on the regions wait and not go on a cruise for a year and just go on the region seven seas it’s Norwegion is made so many bad decisions and it’s not for the cruisers it’s for the fat cat sitting at the top, putting money in their pocketand you can see it and just the crew and their spirit.
Regarding Marauders Ball: this is what happens when cruise lines try to turn dance shows into musical theatre productions. Unless they want to pay for full musical theatre productions with a "book" or a script, they should just do away with plot altogether and have the performers just sing and dance. It's probably really hard to convey a plot in a 45 minute production with no dialogue, but I think this is what the producers of this show (and probably other cruise ship shows) are asked to do.
i will go on one of these smaller luxury ships one day i just need to save up and invest more over the next few years and i will go for sure, im sick of the big ships like carnival and P@O, too many annoying kids screaming and too many people in the pool etc...
MSC Explora ships are nicer and from the reviews the food is better, service as good or better and they’re about half the price. You should try them next.

I’ve only watched one minute of this video, but when Jason said that the carpet was super padded, my first thought was that that would be a nightmare for someone like me who has to wheel her sister around in a wheelchair. The deeper the carpet, the harder it is to push the wheelchair.
This is a luxury ship - you don’t have to place all your food from the buffet on one plate. Have your salad and then go back as many times as you like for other food (on a new clean plate). Have been cruising on luxury lines for many years. One of the best laughs I have ever had was when a newbie guest asked me if “they would mind if I took two desert dishes” 😅
On any cruise. When one eats food, and your on camera. Take smaller bites. The lady packed more lettuce salad in her mouth than one can chew. In the side of her faces out as she tried to chew salad it was really funny. Otherwise, it was a nicely done video, but you don’t need backpacks.

WOW, and Regent will NOT give matching loyalty status from Norwegian, that's pretty sad and pathetic, makes me not want to use them or give them my money
But honestly, it’s not needed! We are Sapphire with NCL and get free laundry, free specialty dining and priority embarkation and debarkation… all which is included with Regent. So there is nothing to gain from a matched loyalty here.
Please please stop wearing dangerous flip-flops. Flip-flops don’t seem to fit an elegant cruise ship unless you’re swimming by pool. They’re called flip-flops because you have flipping flop over .. I really don’t wanna see you get hurt
These are not ‘dangerous’ flip flops… they are molded to my foot with amazing arch support. These are more comfortable than my sneakers!! And you can dress casual on these ships, you just dress up for dinner.

Status doesn’t transfer, but we are Sapphire with NCL and all of our perks are already included with Regent.

Not really! The biggest difference was that there were no shorts allowed after 6 PM. That’s the biggest difference we felt.
