Suzanne when you reached back to take Jebs hand as you were making your way to dinner made my heart drop, it reminded me of times spent with my late wife and how much I miss her, to many these are just infomercials but to me it's a married couple who enjoy their time together filming the adventure, true you gotta pay the bills but the two of you make it much more personal thanks for taking us along, until the next time.. enjoy life together 😊
You two looked/acted like you were on your Honeymoon!! It was delightful to see you both so extra happy and being dressed up just added a really classy touch to the whole video. It was a class act! And a pleasure to watch...thank you for taking us along!
Spending 9k for a train ride and not having everything included is wild!!! For that price, they should include anything I want. That's highway robbery.
Glad you got to make this trip! It is silly money to spend on 24 hours, but if your a railroad enthusiast, an Agatha Christie fan, or just love good food it's on your bucket list. I'm all three of those things, and if I win the lottery this would be my first trip. J&S- you looked great and I'm glad you enjoyed.
got to remember they are influencers so they probably got a discount for the airing it on their channel. (influencers must inform ahead of time to Media part of companies to inform they will be filming) 500k subscribers and up this is pocket change for influencers. I love their channel, but I tend to wince when they whine about crap that they got for free. You know it's also paid for if not 50 - 100% when they say this is "sponsored" by...... (Also there is almost no negative issues regarding service, etc so you know they got some free stuff from the train ride) I still love his narrations and they are a beautiful couple , they need to do some real stuff for regular people once in awhile. Come back down to earth.
I have watched a number of reviews covering this fine train, this particular one being head and shoulders above the rest. Excellent camera angles, perfect lighting and fine editing along with pleasant background music for the most part. Jeb looks the part too, old money aboard the Orient Express.
Oh, you two are so cute 😊 And you looked gorgeous! Thanks for always taking us along on those special trips...and your videos are really well made. Keep 'em coming!❤
This is bucket list stuff for me, I'm so jealous and happy for you two at the same time. I hope one day my wife and I can experience the Orient Express first hand.
Nope. Sorry. Seems like more poof’n’floof than worth it-ness. For that price there should at least be on-suite bathroom with shower. Gorgeous interiors and views though, and you two clean up nicely 🤩 Thanks for taking us along and letting us live vicariously through you and Suzanne! 🚊💝
Another gem! The whole atmosphere that you presented takes me back to only what I could imagine was the golden age of elegance and luxury. What was presented in this short video, truly looked like the experience of a lifetime. Keep up the great work! Maybe you'll do another video starting Istanbul?
WOW! I have dreamed so many times of travel on the Orient Express from Istanbul to London. So happy y’all were able to do Venice to Paris. Definitely a trip of a lifetime! Thank you so much for bringing us along! ❤❤
Hi Jeb & Suzanne, Thanks for your trip on the Orient Express. It’s certainly one of your best videos! I can’t imagine the sheer opulence! Have a relaxing weekend, Peter
I remember the phrase uttered on the island of Saba: "we're not fancy". Well, you both look quite fancy in this video! But still very approachable. Beautiful video to watch. Thank you!
I have been waiting for this particular trip, and two of you have given a wonderful vicarious experience. I recently watched some of Jeb's earlier videos where he mentioned Suzanne was more comfortable behind the camera; thanks for encouraging her to move to in front of the camera. She has enriched your videos with interactions with you.
Hearing Jeb say he wasn't expecting much in the way of scenery, as the most wonderful scenery ever was shown passing, was amazing - it's always nice to find such an unexpected treat on a trip (which is already such a treat, esp. a train trip like this one).
For the first time today it was my wife who suggested we watch “Jeb” after I’ve been watching your videos for more than five years! Fantastic, authentic video as always. Would love to do all these trips with her like you do with Suzanne.
Re formal nights, my husband and I took an epic two-month trip in 2022 to the British Isles, Isle of Man, and Ireland, all ships, trains, and ferries with the occasional rental car. No airplanes! The ships and one train, The Royal Scotsman, had formal nights, and my Irish husband felt it necessary to bring his extremely heavy wool "kilt attire," which nearly required its own suitcase. Just taking a tuxedo would have been so much simpler!! Thanks for the great review of the Orient Express!
Yes! Please try Rovos! My wife and I did a few years back - unforgettable journey and the highest level of service on luxurious restored trains. Definitely a bucket list trip for any rail fan.
Very jealous! Definitely a bucket list journey! As much as I would love to go on it though, it’s just well out of my budget. So I will live vicariously through you two, and maybe the Lego Orient Express 😂
@Greenergrass, i enjoyed this video. The lunch of chicken oysters and risotto was my personal favorite (viewing from afar). My first and last train trip was at age 7 on the Canadian Pacific from Saskatoon to Vancouver and the only memorable event was in the dining car when the train had to execute an emergency stop and our breakfast (dishes and all) went flying off the tables. Glad your trip was fun!
There was a train called the Golden Arrow that used to go to Paris from London until the 70s. It was exactly like the Orient Express but way cheaper than todays train sold to tourists. The Brighton Belle to Brighton from London had similar dining cars.

Although I can think of many things I'd rather spend that much money on, it does look like a fabulous (and romantic) experience. It's definitely a case where "it's the journey, not the destination" 🙂
12:21 - you both look awesome! Thanks for the wonderful video Jeb & Suzanne! I'm pretty sure I will never be able to take this extravagant trip so I really appreciate you both sharing the experience 🙂. The restored carriages are just beautiful! (as a railfan - I'd be happy to just have a museum style tour of that incredible train!).
Beautifully curated experience and as always your videos are sublime!! The food and entertainment spaces are really top notch. However, I will say that for $9000 the room is way too small and doesn't compare to some of the other luxury trains you have been on.
I love you guys' attitude about all the experiences you have been prepared to share with us. This trip is one my spouse and I have shared on a totally different sleeper train from Florence to Paris. I am impressed that you did it nevertheless, not withstanding the expense. Just remember that, as you have both flown first class, now you can claim to have railed first class: great and in twenty years time the memory will still be fresh.
$9K is crazy pants pricing. I hope this channel is well-monetized/profitable! The scenery was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for a peek into the 1% world.
18:42 "Hello Jeb Brooks" is possibly the greatest blooper in this channel's history. Sorry for suggesting last year that you scrap the bloopers segment. This video proved me 100% wrong. Thank you for an amazing video!
Wow, so expensive, but I love Agatha Christie and the book and the movies. I would save for a few years and do this as it's an experience that will always be remembered, a wonderful memory.
Thanks guys for making this vid! I have been following the OE for a few years now wanting to check it off the bucket list, your Vid has affirmed my desire to pull the trigger at some point. Huge money but the memories should be unforgettable.
Thank you for showing us the beautiful luxury on a historic train. In truth I’ve watched other vloggers in the luxury suites; costing about a down payment for a house but seeing your room for the night, brought a nice perspective for those who can’t afford everything. It still was a beautiful stay. I’m glad you can still enjoy it. Happy holidays!
I can remember, when windows in trains could be opened. Well the top half slid down in front or in behind the bottom half. But the cranking handle is special.
This one is not for me. Way to Posh and $9000 US dollars ( that's $13,800 Australian dollars) that's way too much. I can buy a small car for that sort of money. I'm glad you two enjoyed it.
For that kind of money I'd expect a toilet and a shower. I like "historic" but not inconvenience. Most sleeper trains have stretches of rough tracks, so a good night's sleep rarely happens. The food looked excellent!

That's Railway robbery!
It's not robbery, it's murder on the orient express.
Stay home
@zianeshkasparen4358 Thanks for telling me your unwelcomed opinion. I'm sure your parents are proud.
Orient express = Disney for trains. Similar price scheme
Bunk beds, Shared bathroom, No shower, for that amount??? You could've went to several countries on a jet & had luxury hotels for that!
"It's not about the money, it's about sending a message" - The Joker
On a private jet? No way
You'll hate the prices for the other rooms! LOL
One of the oldest and historic train in europe. Thank god in Europe we still have history
Clearly you are uninformed.
You two looked marvelous! Absolutely MARVELOUS!
At $4.5k you'd think the mocktails and lower-end alcoholic drinks would be included 🤧
You could get a week long luxury cruise for that price
@@SpassMacher2000 But it is the Orient Express afterall.

Hearing Jeb say he wasn't expecting much in the way of scenery, as the most wonderful scenery ever was shown passing, was amazing - it's always nice to find such an unexpected treat on a trip (which is already such a treat, esp. a train trip like this one).
Kind of silly to say he wasn't expecting much from the scenery, considering the areas that he traveled through to get to Paris.
