Amazing how these very talented boys can sing and give their best performance with fulltime professional musicians. I dont think they know themselves how great this really is.
Assisti a esse vídeo por acaso há 10 anos, quando não conhecia a obra. Depois procurei muito pelo Glória, quando por acaso descobri a Missa inteira. Maravilhoso.
WAM quotes the Handel Hallelujah Chorus in the repeated "in excelsises" ("Excelses"?) I think. He would have known it well as he arranged a version of the entire "Messiah".
I don't think that would have much effect! The best thing for them is to give honest opinions and not just indiscriminate praise, then they will be able to know what they sound like to an audience. They are a fine choir and deserve good audio recording techniques, which in this particular case they are not getting, but which in some of their recordings they do get.
This is classic music. From around 1780:s and its written by the great composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The master of wienerclassismen. This is a mass for the church. So now you now :)
The voices don't have to change. There's always the eunuch route. Of course, the boy might disagree, but hey, 6 1/2 billion people on one little bitty planet is probably a few billion too many, anyway.
In former times girls/women were not aloud to sing sacral music. The "mulier taceat in ecclesia"-canon (1. Kor. 14, 34) of the roman-catholic church banned women from doing official duties like serving as priest, diacon, altar "boy" oder chorister.
i seem to be the only one who doesn't think this is a very good recording. Much of the time I can hardly hear the boys for the noise the orchestra is making. They could be singing very well for all I can tell but i would like to hear more of them and less of the orchestra. For example the recording of them singing with Harnoncourt, St. John Passion
Those boys are great. Couldn't help but to grin at their movements, youcould really tell that they were feeling it. Amazing talent

We're singing a version of this in choir. A public school. :/
I think (maybe) in 2002 or 2003.
Whis year is it from.I can see that both Alexander and Robin is there
Not a typo. I was merely being clever. Apparently I didn't succeed!
is the rest of mozart's mass in c minor available on youtube with this same choir please?
The only girl ever in ths choir was the conducters doughter.
Fine thats good.
es ist aus der h-molll messe, nicht aus der c-moll. ;)

well mickey mouxe is a little harsh. i have heard a few good counter tenors.
xD LOL
of cource. but not in a boys choire. though female voices are not worse, they are different.
oh my goodness. theyre young and amazing?! they have to have adults with them tho.
however there are people who sing "fake" castati. that requires special skill however, but not a natual high voice.
Um Kyrie is a song by Mr. Mister.
Haha those kids funny when accentuating their parts.
Ahhh!!! A girl!!!!

Bachzart is correct.
