You probably know this but you can upgrade your Optimus to the Gen 2 Optimus baffles. Just got mine back and it is 100% worth the upgrade.

Bro you got big hands, the G19 fits nicely in my smol hands lol. Same suppressor btw

Same G19, Same Suppressor and lov'n it! I actually just got done doing a deep clean in the Optimus after putting 200rnds of Remington .22LR through it... jeez. I knew that stuff was dirty, but I didn't realize how much so. Hours soaking in Hoppes #9, and then using a poly spackling knife to scrape the crud off the baffles... It's back to normal functioning order now 👌
I have bigger guns, but the G19 is MY gun. If I picked one pistol and gave up everything else, it would be the one I keep. Love the 17, the 26 is cool and has it's place, the P365 is interesting; but none of them can replace the Glock 19 as my G.O.A.T. single pick 🔥

@@PhotoCaptured Lol dude I just clean mine with regular dish soap (the baffles), the tube itself I clean with Lysol wipes. I’m gonna get a dedicated 22LR can next year once I come back from deployment.

@@AarenPho Ha I hear ya there. I probably would have been fine with soap if I'd not left it sitting for 3 months while messing with the CGS MOD-9FS... different cans, both are great in their own right.
Are you the one who did the video right before going to Japan about three months ago? I know a couple good friends who got authorization to take their personal cans for use on issued equipment. One took an Optimus and the other took his Rugged Obsidian. (I knew it was a possible thing, but I didn't realize it was quite so common) learn new things all the time!

@@PhotoCaptured Duuude I really wanted a CGS9 at the time but was heavily debating on the price since I wanted multical cans. I really like versatility so I got 2 more waiting for me, a Sandman-S and Obsidian45. Btw no on the video but I heard about an Airman taking one of his cans to Japan/overseas .

At minute 1:12 - what on earth???? You worked the slide multiple times before, insert a loaded mag on a closed slide and it looks like a round flies out when you chambered the gun? Is this some kind of magic trick or am I seeing things?
