I read your online review--and thank you for publishing all this!! One thing though... in the print edition of this review you mention the POI shift on an AR--and you have a picture of your AR with the taper mount on it. In the photos on the print edition it looks like your muzzle device is not mounted properly. Those taper mounts need to be timed with shims to where the Griffin logo goes straight down. When you have the mount timed right your point of impact shift will change. I have several Griffin cans and the orientation of the muzzle device makes a big difference in POI shift. Initially I mounted my taper mounts wrong myself so been there done that.
Great video, thank you! Mine is in jail and will be for another couple months at least, did you get a chance to see how good/bad the flash suppression is at night on 5.56?
Is the ability for Powered dealers to set their pricing a new thing? And does the ability allow them to go any lower, or really just allow them to charge more if they want? (Compared to pricing before the change)
Hey man, I saw your FB post as well. Really, the FRP is quite negligible. As with any can, it's there, but it is barely noticeable. I turned off normalization on my camera, so even if the sounds aren't perfectly representative of the in-person experience, the relative sound levels from round-to-round should be pretty accurate.
It wasn't very gassy at all. Certainly not as gassy as my Specwar 556. Though keep in mind that the long 20" barrel is very favorable here. That's a decent amount of extra room for the gas to fill.
5 years later is it worth it for .22 and .223 out of ar15?

How is the baffles timed? Do removing the baffles for cleaning and putting them back change the point of impact?

Nice review!
Wish you recorded your 5.56 without the suppressor
How was the first round pop on the 22lr pistol?
