A much better video/description of what was done to determine that the old coil was bad is what is needed and the rest is superfluous. .

Bonus the colour of the coil matches the car, glad to see it running well again.

The video could have been EXCELLENT if you would have stated (as you went along) , this white wire is from the ignition, it plugs into the + connector, this brown wire I believe is from the coil, this other white wire is from the idle control etc; this would have added VALUE to your time and the video, but instead all we see is someone installing a new coil on a Beetle and plugging in wires.

I would definitely move the fuel filter from there and put in under the tank!

You attached several wires to the coil but didnt tell us what they were ??
Ive just changed my dizzy to a electronic distributor and got an upgraded coil. But now it doesnt start as i think i have all the wires attached wrongly ??
Can you advise where the +ve wires go to and likewise the neg side.

So why don’t anyone talk about what cables are being connected and where they are coming from? I’ve seen a few videos that just connect and not explain? Greta video other than that.

You should have just started the video over. Too much confusion going on.
