Metedeconk National Golf Course is quite the masterpiece, and it all started with Robert Trent Jones and his right-hand man, Roger Rulewich. They took inspiration from the natural terrain of the place and created a 27-hole golf wonderland. You'll find tree-lined fairways, bunkers in all the right places to test your accuracy, and those famous Jones-style greens that golfers worldwide adore. RTJ strategically incorporated water hazards into seven holes at Metedeconk National, which adds an extra layer of challenge. And for some versatility, they've got a bunch of tee box options, a classic Jones move. This means you can play the course at different lengths, ranging from around 5,200 to 7,200 yards. If you're up for a championship-level challenge, the course has a rating of 76.4, a slope index of 152, and a par of 72 from the championship tees.
The layout of Metedeconk National GC is well thought out, with three sets of nines, all set amidst New Jersey's natural wilderness. Each hole feels like a unique experience. And if you're lucky, you might spot some local wildlife during your round - deer, foxes, muskrats, and even circling hawks, making the Metedeconk their home. It didn't host a playoff event this year for the KF Tour... and it isn't scheduled to be a playoff event next year either. Wonderfull course though... Worked the event this year.

NJ is prime grounds for epic golf courses. So many people live to talk shit about New Jersey all because of the dumb stereotypes it’s gotten over the years. Funny thing is, those areas make up such a tiny percentage of what NJ has to offer. We are the garden state for a reason and Pine Valley is still #1 after all these years! Really excited for Trout National to open here in south jersey. Should be another epic golf course
