Hi, thanks for the comments, the rear mech gets its charge from the bikes battery, the seatpost and handle bar pods are battery powered by there own batteries.
Dave whats it like in comparison to the Haibike Xduro Nduro Pro, that bike is awesome to me, mine has a sensor that vibrates when i change gear and its still running seven years on! I think the componants were more durable with this brand then! 2015 it came second in the best bike ever and was the only emtb up against manual bikes! I think the Gas Gas has heralded another level in emtbs as the componants are quality also!👍
I have been using eletronic shifting for four years on my ebike and absolutelly love it. Would like to try autshifting but don’t think it would suit me, its surely a blessing if you ever gonna lend your ebike, though 😅 I actually run a di2 11s xt on a 2018 canyon spectralon.
This is newest video of yours I could find this is off topic but I have a 2022 trek rail 5 with Bosch cx gen 4 motor. I have a chance to get a new spare motor very cheap but it’s not programmed. I tried calling some bike shops but they don’t do programming. I’m in the USA I know it will be different but about how much should it cost to program the moto to my bike. Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for watching and your comment. As you know each motor is programmed for the bike is its going to be installed in. Only bike manufactures have the level of software to be able to program and bosch of course.

Fantastic, but if i owned that beast I'd be instantly looking for another chain to run on it, £120+ is too much for a chain, especially for one on an ebike, you'd be in a world of financial hurt if the chain wore the cassette out, £340 for a cassette, £120 for a chain plus whatever the chainring cost, i good service after a year of ownership could be close to £900 or even ,£1k with fork and shock servicing costs

That is the same mindset of people back in the day that felt full-suspension took away from the "mountain biking" experience, or disc brakes, or gearing, etc. It's just an evolution of the concept. If you don't like it, don't buy one.
@@TheYorkshireBikeMechanic no kicking against, no revolting, no nothing. Maybe it will be heading that way, which I highly doubt coz of the costs of buying it. Not everyone can afford them, actually only few can. All I'm saying that it's not Mountainbiking anymore.
@SomeguysTrailrides ur comparing 2 different things. One is the frame component, the other is motor driven bike. It's not the same as a bio MTB. For u it's better, good for u. For me it ain't. But it's not Mountainbiking anymore. Why is it so hard to accept it for people like u? IDK 🤷
