Leading up to this year's November election, there's sure to be plenty of things for people to get "energized" about. Trust me. As a retired conservative chem prof at a liberal university, liberals will look you in the face and say I never said (meant) what you heard and make YOU feel like you are the crazy one. I once said do not hire this professor because he does not have the proper visa. He was deported mid semester. No embarrassment, no "you were right" when they asked me to take over one of his classes one week after I fractured my skull and should not have been working anyway. When I said I had a problem of getting really tired during the day, they offered to get me a lounge chair for my office. Unfortunately, this is a true story. You cannot even make this stuff up.
