Who knows if Dr. Ford's memory is entirely correct, but she literally did do a much better job speaking truth than Kavanaugh. His lies got called out and proven as lies minutes after he made them, meanwhile Dr. Ford's claims have yet to be proven as lies at all.
If we're gonna compare the two, clearly neither should be on the Supreme Court.

The thing is, even if he was innocent, the fact that he lied about such simple things automatically makes him unfit to serve the position he's applying for. Many companies wouldn't hire him after they just do a quick check on the things he's said, and yet there are people really willing to give him such a powerful position anyway.

He literally went to a job interview, was lined up with credible accusations, refused to answer simple questions, LIES UNDER OATH about things that are easily disproven, and is STILL going to end up as a supreme court judge for life. If thats what the senate wants, its proof this senate is not what WE want. Please vote come November, we as a nation are being overlooked.

Tell me about it. I never ever really took notice of politics before Trump. I'm not saying Obama was perfect (and believe me, in Texas, most people I knew did not like Obama one bit), but the 8 years under him was the Pax Americana compared to this circus. No tweets attacking anyone and everyone including our allies, no nightly rallies promoting hate and bigotry, no horrible scandals coming out every day. There was a time not so very long ago when I couldn't name more than two or three politicians, I just never had to worry about it. How times have changed.

i am not american, nor democrat or republican. I dont want to judge if Doctor Ford is right or lying, however, how can anyone think that Brett Kavanaugh are made of the right substance, even if Doctor Ford was lying, to be a supreme judge, a bulwark of Justice and Law? the conduct at the hearing alone should have made people realise that he is not right for the job, EVEN IF doctor Ford was lying.

I don't understand if he thinks he is that good or is just arrogant or unable to plan anything but his performance over the past week has been well, pretty bad all things considered. He continuously beats down his credibility with little lies and scientifically the more one tells lies about meaningless things the less problem they have about lying and being dishonest about bigger things, as you keep lying it erodes the negative feeling from lying which can lead into an eventual snowball and this guy looks like he is somewhat far down that snowball.

Just look at the key Senate races: most of them are in conservative States. If the Republicans give in to Democrats over Kavanaugh, the Democrats have a chance there. But as long as the Republicans stick to Kavanaugh, they will keep the Senate and may actually gain additional seat(s) there.
Because Kavanaugh is the only Republican leaning judge who'd pardon Trump? I still don't understand why they don't have a backup yet in place.
