- In this Football Manager 2024 Experiment, we have Belgium & Netherlands the MAX youth rating possible. We do this for the nation with generating youth players, then we improve youth recruitment and youth facilities for each club and we let the challenge commence over 200 years. Who will win the most trophies? Who will come out on top?

The other teams from the nation should count, the money will have been spread around from transfers to some extent and also the youth rating being set to 200 helps all the teams even those that you didn't directly help.

You're looking at the wrong coefficients screen. That shows the coefficient score for only one year. You need the 5 year score which is what decides qualification places

Not sure new zealand are in the base game so I'd need a database 🤔
Could also compare the amounts of ballon dors won by each country

big up the kfc turnhout massive, started in the belgian 5th tier then won multiple league titles and made a ucl final, also fc dordrecht from the dutch second tier managed a europa league final loss within the first 50 years but started in the dutch second tier - brilliant content, need the save file for this

I would count runner ups as 1 pt vs a win as 3 as you proposed and i would also add a note to the 2nd and maybe 3rd div teams and count those too for the extra spice

I'd be happy with the 3/1 points system with runners up. And the rest of the UK v England is a great shout! Though I feel like the Champions League will just have the English teams still clearing up. Maybe make all their facilities 0 stars 🤔
I think in the first 75 or so years they will take a huge lead. But hopefully the following 125 or so we may see a huge comeback. This simulation is ready to record, but I have no clue on the results yet
Have to count the others. 200 nation gen players means the whole nation is in the experiment.
An oversight to be rectified in the coming experiments
id say a new points structure like this might work
1 - for making a final
2 - for winning a final
3 - for being both finalists in a year
then in terms of ranking tournaments it should be priority as follows (top to bottom)
world cup
champions league
Euros
europa
conf
I'd do
Conf - 1pt for 2nd & 2pts for winning
Europa - 2pts for 2nd & 3pts for winning
Champs Lge & Euro's - 3pts for 2nd & 4pts for winning
World Cup - 4pts for 3rd, 5pts for 2nd and 6pts for winning.
Also your showing the wrong coefficient page, it's the 2nd one (Nation Club Coefficient) that's the yearly performance over a 5 year period. The one your showing is only what they did the previous year

Poland vs Czech
Germany vs France vs Italy
Spain vs England
With Scandinavia you need to do a Fatal 4 Way, dont forget the Danish

I love how you present these in kind of a laid back way but idk if that’s preventing your growth because I rank you up there with TomFM for my FM videos. Also for a suggestion have you done making the 2nd league more enticing on a business standpoint with sponsorships and prize money than the 1st division. I’ve done a zero to hero with Scunthorpe trying to get promoted on each of my seasons in charge. Got to the championship won the carabao cup and promoted to the prem. got relegated winning the conference and the FA cup 😢
If you love it, the style works, no? I guess as I continue uploading I'm finding my natural style and evolving into it. Maybe a different style might help me grow quicker, but maybe not as it may not be or feel as authentic. Appreciate the compliment and feedback though 👍
Would be interesting to see the national teams and if the players are staying domestic or going abroad. That might be a bit of why the two have success at the club vs international level. Im guessing more of the Belgian players went to play in other nations compared to the Dutch.
Yeah that is a fair point, you've probably nailed it with that notion
im not sure how other people feel about this but, after doing such a long save for nations im always curious about seeing the nations best players and what they have produced so something like looking at belgiums all time best team or just the national teams at that point.
It's an idea to journey back and see some of the best players throughout yes. I need tp be careful as 200 years will produce a ton of superstars. It may be an hour video if I get carried away 🤣
Video Idea:
All stadiums in England are down to 1.000 Capacity. Go as low league wise as you can! Sim this for 100+ years.

It's actually quite dull. I did a prem/vanarama stadium swap on last years FM. The big teams just build new stadiums in like 5 years and the smaller teams can't fill tge big stadiums or keep up with the maintenance costs so they downsize. Good idea though 👍
Do this in Asia, India and Hong Kong leagues are closely ranked. It would be interesting if they do well internationally
Sadly India don't have their top.flight in the game strangely so the experiment would be a bit janky
Shame I saw India was in the league list Malaysia is, not sure the rank
I think only wins should count, weighting them is too subjective. And maybe future experiments:-
Austria vs. Hungary
Czech Rep.vs. Slovakia
Japan vs. South Korea
U.S.A vs. Mexico vs. Canada
Australia vs. South Africa

British Isles - all 200 youth ratings + Wales, Scotland and Ireland get Bundesliga prize money (you can copy and paste the amounts over in the pre-game editor), not PL level money but very decent.
I've set something up and simulated it... i have not checked results or recorded yet
would be interesting to see the nation that produces the most balon dor wins too

Personally wouldn't want the scoring system, feel like it'll become too data oriented and a bit calculative. I enjoy the trophies count and the storylines in these experiments. Wouldn't say no to give it a try though
I might run the next with the trophy totals and do a conversion next time so it has both and as a community we can decide what's best
I was doing a career mode with man u and after 10 years of greatness and being a legend I just sold Rasmus for 120 million to psg at 31,it's got me crying 😢.Also should count evey win from the nation since they rose due to the experiment.
Always devastating letting a club ledge go, but 120 mill for a 31 year old. Unless they're Jude Bellingham I'd prob let them go too

The way I would do the points would be 1pt for ECL, 3 for Europa, 5 for CL and Euros, and 10 for WC. For this vid, Belgium would have 181 and Netherlands 218.

Sadly NZ not in the base game so a custom DB is needed and they can be a bit glitchy when you further tinker

Not in the base game sadly and often custom databases don't mix well
@@jayhuahua You could do a club battle with Andorra FC and Virtus San Marino and see who becomes a larger club. Change club rules and build it like a Bilbao with only players from Andorra or San Marino.
