- FC Groningen has long been a staple of Dutch football.
Founded in 1971, not only can they claim to have kickstarted the careers of legendary Dutch players such as Ronald Koeman, Arjen Robben, and Virgil van Dijk but they are also one of the best-supported clubs in the whole country.
However, the club’s 23-year stay in the Eredivisie came to a surprising end last season finishing bottom of the league with the club just winning 4 games all season.
Today, we take charge of this club to take them back to where they belong!

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

@@HoodGamingUK I’ve just finished season 15 in my save with Lynx it’s one of the most enjoyable saves I’ve ever done I’m now able to pay decent fees for players I’ve just paid £5m rising to 10 for a 6ft8 AF from Argentina 🇦🇷

Just started a Groningen Safe a few weeks ago. Got promoted in the first Season. Won the league and the Cup in my First Season in Eredevise. Just to end up with a transfer Budget of minus 4 mil :)
Sold Suslov for eight and Blockzilj for 12 in the 2nd Season…Safe is so much fun, but Not doing too well im UCL atm(3rd Season)….
I think you’re punching far above your weight so fast! You will get there with consistent Champions League money
Was actually Kinda sad i won the league so early cause that was the long Term Goal for the Safe……Still Sems Crazy to have negative Budget eventhough I got UCL Money :) Even had a positive Balance (no Debt) before the Budgets 4 the new Season were revealed.
for the next rebulid i suggest you a belgium team: Malines, an historic club that in the 80' won also internationally

Would love to see you do a rebuild with gillingham. Only Kent club in the football league. Been in the championship once before but not been back since. Great narative to get them into the premiership for the first time like with the Scunthorpe one.

Brother please do rebuild of Levski Sofia, biggest club in Bulgaria and one of the biggest on the Balkans, we have 26 titles but haven't won any since 2009, we also are really bad financially, so it would be really interesting, we also have a lot of fans, which means a lot of views...

@@HoodGamingUK I think the biggest team down there is AS Cannes. Reading in yo they were quite successful even having players like Zidane albeit at a young age. Might be worth a look

@@HoodGamingUK that is correct but in Holland this is never a fallen giant there are 3 big teams in Holland psv Feyenoord and Ajax. Behind them you have FC Twente and AZ Utrecht is bigger than them Heerenveen are also bigger.
