- Got a Steel Path Shrine Defence Guide for anyone struggling to do damage to the Oni. The oni has crazy damage attenuation so even with Armor stripped it takes a bit of time to kill it. I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Nevermind. Just a quick video, don't have much time for editing right now. Thanks for watching

Well they are Deimos Infested, I don't know if you ever went back to the Cambion Drift on SP after Jade Shadows but jesus christ they do be spongy even on my best loadouts.
Never in my life before was I able to consistently execute enemies with Garuda because I couldn't overkill them

@@mfwiloseintouhoubossfights9305 I get the same problem when trying to score hesdshots, trying to charge an incarnon weapon. The bugger keeps turning away.
Was trying to look into this, literally no body is making videos on this for fast runs.
Fastest time I have gotten so far on the Steel Path Shrine Defense(in public) was 4 mins 24 seconds with Vauban because vortex just constantly keeps them off the zone (even though the enemies might be in the zone) so the time keeps ticking down. Khora works great as well but it just sucks that her whip doesn't work AT ALL against Oni... though Venari(or any Kavat) is nice with [sharpened claws] to strip the armor as well. Vauban gets better gun perks for Oni part with Minelayer Overdrive purple, I also run Chroma's Elemental Ward for more multiplier. One of the only times I haven't ran a negative strength Vauban that usually has more range/duration, lol.
Yeahhh, A very dynamic team(1 CC frame Khora/Vaub, 1 Bossing frame, 1 SP Crowd Nuker frame like Mesa/Gara, 1 Traveler frame like Nova Portals straight to Shrine) is needed for fastest time. Another thing to note that DE does is PER squad member, the difficulty stacks as you probably know (1 player can kill an Acolyte solo faster than they could killing the acolyte solo in a squad of 4).

BTW, Kullervo's Wrathful Advance does not work on Oni either. I did Valkyr with Silence build, it did alright doing fast swings of 30-40k to Oni. Baruuk's Desert Wind waves work as well with more damage.
Appreciate the additional tips. Have not used Vauban but I knew he'd be a good pick. Good to know about the kavats stripping armour too. Thanks for watching :)
@@Foxetarian Another thing I forgot, Launch Crew Member with the Zarr.. clears enemies super quick on exterminate phase. May work well against damaging Oni as well because Damage Attenuation applys less to specters.

I think dagath is perfect for this if u subsume roar onto her with the Spectral Spirit augment and 210%+ strength (and precision intensify) for full armor strip on her 4
@hatnis Dagath strips the oni armor? Will have to try it out. 👍
@@hatnis would think since these guys are strong against viral that she wouldn't be that great. I know she usually a DPS powerhouse though usually.
Jade strips the Oni's armor with a normal build , you don't have to do anything crazy
I assume you don't really care much about using abilities often and focus more on raw damage output in these builds?

Well, on the nova, I believe I had arcane grace. I also have the operator arcane that heals your warframe when transferring. On saryn, I was using her augment for molt which provides healing, and oberon has his 2nd ability.
Damage output on the weapons, sure, but oberon (my favorite pick), is definitely not optimal for damage, and I focused more on support there.

Forgot how much energy a maxed Arcane Energize gave as well... mine is unranked
I don't know enough about arcanes and was confused how you use healing abilities often with base or 45% efficiency and only energy orbs.
Like I said, my first thought was: "don't need a lot of energy when the gun is killing everything". Especially because I saw Madurai in your Nova build.
@tracephage It was either arcane grace or molt reconstruct. Both give adequate healing. Plenty of ways to heal in this game, especially with the 90% damage reduction from nova's 1. The nova build I was using doesn't require much casting, so arcane energize is sufficient energy sustain.
Blood rush does not work as well on heavy attacks (doesn't have the 2x)
@cryeternal4778 Bloodrush stacks with combo multiplier. The new galvinised reflex provides initial combo and heavy attack efficiency. In combination with ready steel, this gives us a combo count of x6 at almost all times, which in combination with bloodrush, provides a 200% crit chance increase. That's pretty decent.
@@Foxetarian Xoris Charged Throw Recall Exploitation is 22%. With Blood Rush (6x combo) that would equal a total of 66 cc. Galv Steel provides 24.2 cc (48.4 cc on heavy). Added up 66+24.2+24.2= 114.4 cc on heavy charged throw. Without BR its only 70.4 cc.
Sacrificial Steel on its own was 118.8 and I liked it. But blood rush in combo with the new Galv Steel is a better option.

@cryeternal4778 @cryeternal4778 To be fair, it's enough crit without bloodrush. The build I had before used corrupted charge, sacrificial steel, and gladiator might. I swapped them out for the new galv reflex and galv steel, plus bloodrush. I little dip in crit chance and the notion that you have to get kills first to stack the galv mods, all for an additional 60% crit damage. Honestly, there's not much difference between this new set up and the old one and I'm really bad at math, so I usually decide if I like a build by testing it out in missions against steel path. I like it but I always say to build to your own preferences. Just swap bloodrush out for a crit riven 😆

There is another way, mirage , press 4 ,repeat ez 95% of dmg
I did briefly show Mirage in the gameplay but I'm just a sucker for oberon. I'm always trying to out dps meta frames, to little success 😅
