Nah Rosberg got out as a winner. His dad had a single championship too, nice symmetry. I wouldn't go back if I was him unless I felt I really needed the money. And I doubt he did even before he got a single check from f1.
I would love to see Sebastian Loeb in an F1 car. He almost had a chance, but despite winning 9 (NINE !!) consecutive WRC world titles he didn't have enough super license points. He's also held the Pike's Peak WR, finished 2nd at Le Mans, won the X-Games at his very first try, and also done pretty well in the Dhakar rally and WTCC. Oh, he's also won the Race of Champions 3 times. Loeb is a legend !
@@johnjohnson1351 Conversely, being a good F1 driver doesn't make you any good at rallying - ask Kimi. And, in all honesty, being an F1 driver doesn't necessarily mean you're any good at it either - some just can't help crashing (cough... Maldonado, Grosjean). Anyway, this was a necro reply, and Loeb has more driving talent and credentials than any other living driver, in my opinion - which was kind of the point of the whole thing Nico asked anyway.
Wish Nico was back in a car... my wife & I met him at Silverstone about 4 years ago. Really nice chap and the only person to have taken a championship from Lewis in the Merc! That must have taken so much both mentally and physically! Nico ... if you ever want me to edit one of you vlogs let me know :)
Nico these lap guides are my favorite thing you’ve done on this channel. I appreciate learning from a champ so much. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Alexander Rossi for me... His races in F1 were extremely impressive considering that he was drafted into his seat. After just a few races in F1, he went to indycar where he won the indy 500 in his rookie year. I think he could have a lot of success in F1!!
I made this suggestion as well! Now that he has gotten some experience and has really dial in his skills I think it would be great to see. Plus an American driver for an American team with HAAS would be amazing!!!
Mika Hakkinen, cause I feel like he did not get as much credit as he deserved, and also spilling water at press conferences :) Also Nico, great video, I bet many of us would be happy to see more of this content or maybe even tutorials for amateur wanna-be racers :)
Hey Nico! I love your technical insights here. Maybe you can add more videos with the same themes? Like how setup is made during qualifying? Giving us a small view into the world within the garage would be awesome!
Hey Nico, which other sports do you enjoy? I would like to hear your opinion as a short part of the video on upcoming non-f1-sport events (for example the championsleague at the moment). Also I really like this video series! Keep it up.
Jules Bianchi definitely deserves another shot at F1. He would have taken over Alonso's seat in the Ferrari had it not been for that very unfortunate day at Suzuka. Jules was doing great things with a lesser car, just look at 2014 Monoco. Such a brilliant driver and an all around great guy.
Damn, this made me sad thinking of Jules. Such a sad situation. That is a good answer and you got my vote. He was a good young driver and from everything I’ve seen he was a really nice and genuine young guy. Such a shame that he was taken too soon. I still remember that race and it is still haunting thinking of what happened to him :(
Rubens Barrichello for me deserves to be back out there. He is a great supporter of grassroots racing even still now racing S5000 in Australia but he is an incredibly solid and consistent driver with a pretty great personality from what I’ve seen.
I feel like Brendon Hartley deserves a seat in F1. He never really got to show his true speed with the limited time that he had in F1. He started to gain pace during the second part of the 2018 season but it was too late and he lost his seat for the 2019 season. So I feel like he deserves another chance in F1 because he’s a very talented driver who never got to show his true potential.
Ivan Marić yeah but remember that Brendon himself said that he only grew accustomed to the car after the summer break. So I’m certain that he could’ve been faster if given more time.
I guess Nico Rosberg would get i F1 back again racing for either Redbull or Mercedes cause he really deserves a seat cause of he's skills n kindness to spread awareness n do charity fund raising for all the families that r suffering in this COVID-19 pandemic.....Nico u r my big inspiration n I'm really excited n can't wait to see u racing again ❤❤🤗
I also think Fernando alonso should be in f1, his ability to carry a car into the top 10, like in 2013 or 2014, he got the most out of that Ferrari car and made himself a championship contender. He would also be helpful for the team, because of his experience, he wont hide anything from the engineers, and if something needs to be fixed, he sais it on the spot, even of hes racing!
Juan Manuel Fangio, often spoke about as the greatest of all drivers, it would be interesting to see how he performed in todays cars up against the likes of Lewis, Max and Sebastian... when he's on form!
Love your videos! I find even if it’s not useful for me for the track you’re covering, I have ‘Ah ha!’ moments for many other tracks and I apply your lessons there. It has helped me hugely to think more about the mechanics and balance of the car ‘in that moment’ rather than setting off and hoping for the best. I treat every part of the lap differently and how I can tweak my setup to best approach each sequence. The car becomes a living, breathing animal and the happier I keep it during the lap, the better it will serve me. Keep them coming Rostradamus!
Hey nico, the analysis and commentary you provided at the spanish gp made the somewhat boring weekend a lot more interesting and we would all love to see you around the paddock more.
Bradley Morris Thats true but it was Vandoorne second year in Formula E and he was already in F1 and DeVries deserved it as a F2 Champion a seat or at least a Test to show of what he capable is of

Being skilful at rallying does not a good f1 driver make.
I would love to see Marcus Ericsson, he and Leclerc pushes that Alfa to its limit in Brazil 2018. And he took Grosjean in Azerbaijan. 10/10 driver.
Pascal Wehrlein deserves a seat.
Unfairly kicked out at the end of 2017 and was an amazing talent, just didn't have the backing.
Nico, please, tell us how FP1 starts for drivers? How they setup their cars? What first, what second? Thank you in advance! The best content!
Mika Hakkinen, cause I feel like he did not get as much credit as he deserved, and also spilling water at press conferences :)
Also Nico, great video, I bet many of us would be happy to see more of this content or maybe even tutorials for amateur wanna-be racers :)
"30 years ago Niki Lauda said...."
Now i get it now.
Learn so much in this series
Loved the commentary by Nico during 2020 Spanish GP . I wish he could do that every race . To hear about the technical aspects were just incredible
4:07 Didn't expect that😅 A tiny smirk by Nico would've nailed it...😝
Hey Nico! I love your technical insights here. Maybe you can add more videos with the same themes? Like how setup is made during qualifying? Giving us a small view into the world within the garage would be awesome!
Unbelievable insight in your commentary last weekend, would love more content.
They only love you when your dead Rip Jules🙏🏿
Damn, this made me sad thinking of Jules. Such a sad situation.
That is a good answer and you got my vote.
He was a good young driver and from everything I’ve seen he was a really nice and genuine young guy.
Such a shame that he was taken too soon.
I still remember that race and it is still haunting thinking of what happened to him :(
Rubens Barrichello for me deserves to be back out there. He is a great supporter of grassroots racing even still now racing S5000 in Australia but he is an incredibly solid and consistent driver with a pretty great personality from what I’ve seen.
I really enjoy these videos, it’s nice to see Nico has found a real passion during his retirement that is still related to F1👌🏽
I feel like Brendon Hartley deserves a seat in F1. He never really got to show his true speed with the limited time that he had in F1. He started to gain pace during the second part of the 2018 season but it was too late and he lost his seat for the 2019 season. So I feel like he deserves another chance in F1 because he’s a very talented driver who never got to show his true potential.
he was too busy crashing to show his speed 😬😮
He was trashed by Gasly who was trashed by Verstappen immensly.
Who would love to see Nico and Lewis do this? If they are able to sit in the same room haha I wonder how differently they would each explain it
_Oof,_ that would be spicy XD...
This aged well
Nico great job announcing for F1, your analysis has a place!! Spot on and love listening to your drivers perspective!
Lord MAHAVEER RAGHUNATHAN needs that Merc seat.
DEFINITELY he can easily beat hamilton in any race
OH MY GOD BRING MAHAVEER TO F1 (I took him as teammate in myteam, of course)
Why not 😏???
@@sachelrotge1556 who didn't?
Visvesh Narayan he will bring mercedes to championships record that no constructors ever reach
That flashback was hilarious come on. Love it
These in-depth track analysis are really good! Especially the stuff about break balance and wind, that you don't really see on tv!
Stoffel Vandoorne and Antonio Felix da Costa deserve a seat, 2 great drivers who never got the chance to show off there talent in F1
Vandoorne was a mclaren driver in f1
@@sajjansahota3122 i know, but he had a car that was not good
xSiBiNiOx Alonso beat him in classification whit the same car
@@siebepaulussen hmm yea, maybe if he joined mclaren now he would have a better chance
@@axelperez3135 but alonso is alonso, ge makes cars do things....better
Juan Manuel Fangio, often spoke about as the greatest of all drivers, it would be interesting to see how he performed in todays cars up against the likes of Lewis, Max and Sebastian... when he's on form!
Nico these track detail videos are amazing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent!!!!
Nico Rosberg needs to come back to F1.
Reason: World championship
We have to respect his decision to retire man
wc only when he can force Lewis of the track and praying that Lewis got more problems with his car. Rosberg is not that good at all to take on lewis
Devon Butler from F1 2019 Career mode. Why you ask? He doesn't play ping pong. He drives.
12:26 Hey, this is where you just cut the corner because the game doesnt detect it! 😂
Don't you remember Charles, George and Alex slicing through it
Da costa, he's proved exactly how good and dominant he can be in this season of Formula E
Hey nico, the analysis and commentary you provided at the spanish gp made the somewhat boring weekend a lot more interesting and we would all love to see you around the paddock more.
That flashback😂😂
Nyck DeVries deserved a seat in F1. He‘s the current F2 champion and should get the chance to show what he can do in F1. It‘ll worth the try
Seb sadly he struggled a bit in formula e, vandoorne have been much more consistent than de vries
Bradley Morris Thats true but it was Vandoorne second year in Formula E and he was already in F1 and DeVries deserved it as a F2 Champion a seat or at least a Test to show of what he capable is of
Loved your commentary on the race at Barcelona. Need you at more races!
Ooo The Painful Memories. 😭😭
That was sad for me
