This is why I kinda ship Orion Pax and Megantronus. At a time they were friends and had similar views. They were close. They were brothers. But now, they have to fight each other. The people they used to be dissolved a long time ago. They love and friendship they once shared burned to ashes, leaving behind the form of a rival. I don't really ship Megatron and Optimus because they have to fight each other a lot, and often hurt the other's comrades and allies. They battle with one another so much, it seems to be routine, and the damage they do to one another no longer aches like it would many years ago. That's why I think, when Bumblebee kills Megatron, the reason Optimus watches him plummet to Earth for so long is because he's reminding himself that what died was not his friend Megatronus. Just the husk of a scarred warlord named Megatron.
Same I ship Orion x megtronus but also Megatron x Optimus. I think Megatron and Optimus' relationship is really angsty cause they both want to stop this war and get the other on their side but they can't stop fighting because of their opposing views
