I just purchased this same devise for our RV. I have all the same stuff that You have so I hope I can get mine up and running in the next couple of days. Mine is battery power only so I don't have to deal with other wiring. I do have two batteries. Thank for sharing! 😎👍
Yes. You just need to keep that screwdriver handy to take the battery out. You may get away with charging every 3-4 months. Depending on how often it senses motion.
Are you asking how do you test it? After going through the installation instructions like I showed, you should have a working camera. It will automatically capture videos based on motion. Then you can watch the videos on the phone app. You can even download the videos from the phone app - which is how I got the very last clip in the video.
Despite my old chime not compatible with the Ring, I still wired it (see 9:20) so that it could take advantage of the AC power for charging. If I didn't do that, I would have to take the Ring battery out every month and charge it. I didn't have to change my transformer because it still worked fine.

Scott, you gonna make me a handyman! :) Loved it!
Mrs. Scotty would like to see a video on installing a new front door 💜💜
Great video Scott !
Good video. I have an apartment, so I had to do the battery powered ring. It's working well, but we'll see how long the battery lasts.

How do I try it

But you didn't show what you did with the wires! If you were going to use a chime why bother with the transformer and the wires?
