Actually it's the other way around. It was originally the middle section of the live version of 'Can't Stand Losin'.....But when they were recording the album Regatta de Blanc they realised they were short of material. So, they decided to record the middle section of the live version of 'Can't...' to include on their second album.....and made it the title track.

Saw them in 2007 in Milwaukee at The Marcus Amphitheatre. Awesome show. I so hope they tour again,but I doubt they will.

Jason Lefler I humbly disagree, I think it was an aside to himself about struggling to sing, if you’ll notice his vocals are really subdued during the middle portion of the song where he normally sang out during this period.
