    Great video MAP performance but there's also A couple of things that Evo x Need or basically any Turbo car is gages AFR, boost, Water temperature, oil temperature Do too you can't rely on just lightsCompared to a gauge. 2nd Thing you need for the Evo X Are heat Shields these cars get incredibly hot Especially by the Turbo manifold they can melt hoses Is plastic covers you name it so definitely heat Shields R and order, And since we're talking about heat, Upgrad your radiator and oil cooler Like a Bolton mishimoto Dual oil cooler, As well as some good radiator hoses, And last but not least an oil catch can To keep your car running clean,And definitely a relocation AYC kit To prevent the AYC pump from getting rusted corroded it or get all kind of junk from the debris from the debris from the road Open it safe in the trunk What about having to take too much space from your trunk. Oh and for the racers out there definitely don't miss out on the bigger oil Pan that MAP offers This will definitely help in the canyons or the track This part will definitely help out when the oil is just sloshing back-and-forth in the oil Pan starving the motor of possibly oil with this bigger oil Pan your oil Pan it prevents the oil from sloshing back-and-forth.

    Get the ams master cylinder and an act monoloc in your throw out bearing . the OEM one is extremely weak. 1 gear bang and you can snatch your tob out of the pressure leaving you stranded. Just had that happen in the exact way. 1 quick 2-3 shift snatched the tob out of the pp. And to fix it is about 400 for an OEM clutch to $800 for a upgraded clutch. And if your not doing the labor yourself its about $1,000 in labor.

    Why do evos never get options for AOS but many Catch Cans. Also any T-Case maintenance issues?

      Honestly, if you have ever emptied a catch can you can see why an AOS is suboptimal

      Evo 8: do timing belt, have a spare Transfer case, and AC button rear cable causes button to not turn. Other than that it's solid.

    I just bought an evo and the brembos look like they are peeling from rust just like on these video how do I fix those

    • @ashkechum101
      @ashkechum101 3 месяца назад

      It’s the clearcoat on the calipers. Mine has the same issue, it needs to be repainted/powder coated. Or just new clearcoat. As long as there’s no rust on the disc itself it’s all good. Rust on the wheel hub is common and inevitable- I have it. You can get it blasted with dry ice or electrolysis/scrubbed off but it’s a lot of work for something that will come back and isn’t much of an issue.
