Revisit

I used to live in Financial District, NYC. A few weeks ago, I was able to visit here again 18 months after I left. I was living in my dream city, but the reality was not the same as I wanted it to be. I’ve been refraining from visiting here again, because I was scared to face it. It took me courage to revisit here. Everything seems to have stayed the same. Fulton Street, Pier 17, parks, restaurants, and coffee shops I was regular at. Now that I’ve come again as a visitor, it brought about different emotions.
