The way Loon lights up the water at night has to bring a lot of life to the surface. Introducing kids to fishing would be a really cool thing to do. Just catching squid would be fun and a good way to have fresh calamari.
What a great charter. I am sure the guests fully enjoyed themselves and will have some great memories. The crew of Loon are consummate professionals. Chef Nina, I would love to dine and enjoy your culinary skills. 👍👍👍👍
Rare level of wealth and thinking the kids they talk about have no awareness how fortunate they are. I've stayed in Porto Cervo and seen the amazing super yachts that anchor out and tender in for lunch at our hotel. I thought we were well off until I saw how they rolled up. 😂
What a lovely way to finish out a work week. Fun to see Ben on here too! How delicious are the aromas that must permeate the ship while Nina and Judy cheffing their hearts out ❤ Yum
Sonja has been learning her English from the South African Crew. She uses the word Ja it is precious. I had a friend come to London who could hardly speak English she spoke Afrikaans she went on a 3 month Euro Train pass with a New Zeland girl and came back speaking like a New Zealander. Love IT.
Absolutely another brilliant video, you are killing it Steve. Happy 3 Weeks, been fun to follow along! Cheers to the guests and the amazing crew! Cheers Loonatics!
Nice one guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍 I do hope the kids left a very very big tip 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰 3 weeks of babysitting is not cheap 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks captain Ben 👍 You guys rock ✊✊
Absolutely awesome video as always… Nina what an incredible cake.. amazing destinations. Steve what a pro in action…. Really wonderful stuff… Bravo ❤️❤️
Thank you for updating sound levels. Your videos are so good and beautiful that it was a shame it wasn't as perfect as today's re-upload. Watching it again for the view count. Also watched Nina's stunning video just a couple hours ago.
Incredible video, such truly beautiful scenes and panoramic views. A treat to see all this, must have been fabulous for the guests. Love the crew clips, great addition to these videos. Well done, Steve and hope you all had a good rest for those 2 days!
You redid the audio track, perfect now! Thanks Steve, you’re awesome. I hope the need for a/v person is only because you’re going on holiday. (In which case I hope you have a lovely time)!
Another great video! Thank you! Can’t stress enough how much the variety of voices and on air instances are appreciated! Nothing against Captain Paul, but I hope you continue in this manner. It’s a much more engaging and entertaining product. It’s nice to get to know all the crew members and their jobs. It provides a nicer flow and a different energy.
Wow , 3 weeks , lots of very hard work but I'm guessing made easier by having awesome guests , THE only thing I would like to see on ' Loon ' is someone can clean the ' growth ' on the front ' bulb ' of the bow , it's all green ( I know it's normally done in dry dock and impossible whilst on charter ) and unsightly , it doesn't go with the spotlessness of the rest of the boat , sorry it's picky but it bugs me and probably you all too. All the crew are amazing , you certainly all earn your money , very well done.
Fun video. Steve - a bit of constructive feedback? The videos are starting to feel a bit repetitive. I think it could help to change up the content a bit. Right now it feels like it's a lot of 'toys go in, toys come out, reposition, repeat'. I know that's likely a lot of what a charter looks like, but maybe you can do some more in between. What happened with the fishing? Lets learn about the 50 knot wind. How does inter-trip provisioning work? I'm sure there's a lot more going on that what we're seeing. Again, I'm not being critical, just giving some feedback. I love this channel and you've been doing an amazing job since you took over.
I don't want to be critical, but I get that you want to show your video skills. You really impress with your fantastic feedback. A tip for you - if you really think your unique feedback makes sense, why not send them a dm? If not showing off is your goal here… ;-)
Bro, if you listen to the commentary, you realise that his first priority is filming the guests on their amazing cruise! Delicious meals, special events, fun times and lots of kids doing water sports. Then editing together all that footage for a video record of their time on Loon, which they shared on their last night. ❤ After reading your comment I kept a close watch for the repetition you spoke of and there was absolutely none. More variety than Part 2. And a wonderful mix of close up shots, which really give texture. Just as the beautiful drone shots capture the beauty of Loon in those amazing locations. Awesome footage and great vids! 🎉🎊
On regular charters, do the guests get to use the owner’s cabin, suite, office, etc. or is it only for the owner and remains off limits during charters?
We have been doing it every trip for years. Obviously, the Bayasian sinking has spotlighted the industry, but we did a deep internal review of our guest and crew safety procedures and found it to be above what is required, and no changes were needed.
Well done Crew, and guests! I suspect they may be watching this ;) Steve, nice edit as always! Did you have a polarizing filter on the main camera or does it do that good a job of managing the sunny reflective landscape? Some stunning shots.
Steve and Capt Paul - love your videos, from the beginning. We like to watch them on our big screen, but these last three (3 week charter) videos were very hard to hear well. Bjorn, Ben, Davey, the ladies, etc sound great but we have a hard time with Steve's fast speaking and low volume. And his voiceovers are impossible for us to follow. Please compare these videos from much earlier ones and you'll see the difference. Thanks for caring enough to do such great videos for us. And congrats for building such a great team that everyone can fill-in very effectively when Capt Paul is away...... even with the videos. A professional team means good leadership at all levels. Congrats.
I thought Bjorn took that pinch well just prior to the guests coming down the passerrelle near the end. Whoever that was knew you couldn't throat punch him in front of the guests.
I think it was the yacht owner onboard. Hasn't been said. But i think It's likely. Owner i dont think would tip the crew when he's already paying them year-round.
I am not sure what mic you are using for the voice overs, it sounds like a laptop mic. Regardless, there is a drastic difference in quality between it and the other mics, the other mics sound much better.
being in the kitchen is that job I would like least on a Yacht. It's such a thankless task. The closest thing I've done, is when I was a student i did Camp America in summers, I was doing Watersports by day, and worked as assistant photographer by night. The poor sods in the kitchen I didn't even know their names.
damn, that cake! Seeing it back now, looks even bigger lol
But two fake parts?? How dare you!?
@@christophb2736 The two fake parts suprised me, for how much the charter costs lol, I'd be kinda irritated if it was me.

Great seeing Ben in front of the camera, he seems to be getting more comfortable with it!

yep, we made a slight editing mistake, which was missed. so we pulled yesterday's video down and just reposted it with the correct sound levels

I have a feeling it was the OWNER who was onboard, but that is just my opinion. 🤗
possibly the owners' kids & grandkids.
I dread to think how much that cost! I think Paul said it was $500K per week not including fuel and food. So this must have been $2M+ 🤑🤑
We’re is captain Paul 🇬🇧🏴💕
One suggestion I have. Taking off sunglasses when talking to camera would make it more perfect. 😊
haha its on order
Wish you'd use the DJI mics for your VOs. They sound a lot better than whatever you're currently using for your VOs.
Or ask Nina what she uses for her videos? Her VOs are crisp!

In lieu of the recent superyacht sinking, in the next charter season, will you be doing a muster review with your charter guests?
We have been doing it every trip for years. Obviously, the Bayasian sinking has spotlighted the industry, but we did a deep internal review of our guest and crew safety procedures and found it to be above what is required, and no changes were needed.

When you wash the boat do you use sea water or fresh water?
Fresh, always fresh. 99% of the reason for washing is to wash the salt off.
What function does the mast on the bow serve other than to display anchor light?
That's it. It's just to display the Navigational lights. It's telescopic, so we take it down during the day to clean up the lines of the yacht.
