  • BTA Care - Today we are talking about how to care for Bubble Tip Anemones (Entacmaea quadricolor). Back in the day, BTA's in the hobby were either red or green. But these days we have quite the color palette to choose from, with designers sometimes carrying 4 digit price tags! If you have any questions about anemones, please leave them in the comments section below!

I have a softie tank with low lighting, around 50 to 150 par. I bought a forest fire rose bubble tip new a few months back as a 1 inch clone. It has since split twice now but they are not growing larger than about 2 to 3 inches. Do they need higher lighting to grow to full adult size?

They loves higher par level or intense lighting

They also don’t like the chemical warfare from soft corals
