It is a beautiful car, but I have a cousin who bought a LS 430 and is slowly restoring it now that it has 250,000+ miles. The issue he is running into is parts for these cars are becoming rare. Even Toyota is starting to not make the parts anymore outside of major components.
Probably will go into the auction and sell for a stupid price! These cars are not worth buying as a daily or even weekend car. You can always buy one for $10k less and spend $3/4k to bring it back to top form
@@MercOne I’m very familiar with both, and the worst ls430 is better to drive than a museum w140. That’s not even taking into account the ownership experience and reliability of an ls430.
@@9697JAYYou don’t know what you’re talking about. The LS430 drives like a Buick and it’s nothing memorable. Flimsy build too. I own a W140 so try again.
@@MercOne flimsy build? Brother I can tell you’ve never been anywhere near an ls430. Ive briefly owned both. Neither are genuinely fast or exciting, why deal with a w140 when it’s worse at being a luxury sedan and also slow?
Beautiful car. Now, this is the Ultra Luxury version of the LS 430. The only problem with buying one of these is age is a bitch on these cars, and it has the full front and back air suspension. I just helped a cousin of mine who bought one of these convert to the standard suspension because it was going to cost over $6,000 just to replace the suspension on that car. Instead, he went with the base model suspension which was half that price. Outside of that and the extra electronics in the back seats including heated and cooled back seats, it is pretty much the same as every other LS 430....of course with a much nicer headliner. It is a shame this car is now being taken to Pennsylvania to now rust to death.
Quite literally one of the best vehicles ever made
It's fantastic. He kept it for a few months. I imagine if I owned it. I'd keep it forever. I hope it brings you both all the money ! It's perfect !

The least attractive of the LS models. Too much of a wannabe W140 and not good looking either.
W140’s are cool, but a ls430 is leagues above. It’s genuinely not even close.
@@9697JAYMan please. You can’t even say why or how. The LS430 is the ultimate W140 knockoff.
