    Toyota has been perfecting their hybrid system for 25 years! If you plan on driving this vehicle for multiple years the Grand Highlander hybrid is the obvious choice. It's transmission is BULLETPROOF and you simply cannot say that about any other vehicle in this lineup.
    37 MPG! UNLESS YOU NEED MORE HORSEPOWER TO PULL SOMETHING IT IS THE OBVIOUS CHOICE.

    • @theholt2ic219
      @theholt2ic219 Год назад +1

      Yes, at least you’re informed. Toyota’s eCVT are essentially bulletproof and they know what their doing when it comes to hybrid power trains. I’m just curious to see how well their new turbo engines hold up. They are Toyota so I would not doubt them. They are betting their entire business on these new new engines.

      Pilot and Highlander are boxier suv where as CX90 has suv + minivan kind of drive combo, Toyota and Honda were my first choice but poor inventory, poor gas milage, no hybrid inventory present, less features, high dealer markups break my heart and after driving cx90 my heart changed with the super comfort drive, its firm and suspension are better then boxier SUV

    I like the Pilot but the reason I would not choose it is because it has a GDI engine that will carb up and maintenance to keep it clean every 30,
    000 or so miles, timing belt instead of a chain, that will changed and that goes into cost of about $1500 to $2000 depending on location.small thin rotors that will over heat and have to be changed at around 30,000 to 40,000.

      @@mbenton6 According to the Mazda website, none of their CX-90's make over 25 MPG combined. That's 10-11 less than the Highlander, and as MPG's was a major factor for me, this was a no-brainer. However, I will say, it took me over a year to get my Highlander (I actually put a deposit down on a 22, wound up with a 23, for which I am eternally grateful), but at the time I put the deposit down the CX-90 wasn't even being discussed. Also, to configure a CX-90 to have basically the same features as the Highlander, it comes in about $7K more than what I paid for the Highlander. But don't get me wrong... I've had great success with Mazda's over the years. I still remember my 929... it was just about as good as my Lexus LS430 and even then it was a driver's car. If I was buying now the CX-90 would definitely be on the list. Thanks..

    Toyota Grand Highlander is ridiculously priced and stealerships jack up the costs at unbelievable rates, especially the hybrid model. Great size, usability, fuel economy, and interior material nonetheless.
    Honda Pilot offers a natural aspirated V6 and an off-road trim. It has low fuel economy and outdated interior design. Nonetheless, it too has great size and usability like the Grand Highlander with a superior off-road handling that you could abuse around.
    Mazda CX-90 is the smallest of the three but offers more refined designs. Fuel economy is decent and drive is more sporty. Nonetheless, the cost is pricy if you want to upgrade to the plug in hybrid that could only go for 26 miles on a fully charged battery.
    Me: Honda Pilot because I could dog the car around rough and smooth roads/weather with the truck-like body and that naturally aspirated V6.

    We are debating whether to go for Grand Highlander Hybrid or Pilot. We like the fuel efficiency of hybrid Toyota, but would love to have enough power to tow a camper. Wait time for 2.4L turbo Hybrid Grand Highlander is more than 2 years, so that’s out of question. We drive less than 10k km a year, so fuel efficiency isn’t as critical. I guess we’ll see…
