How’s things Dean, really enjoy the videos. You’re a top class man at the repairs of tools, I love the way you go through it all and not just the bare broken part. Are you taking in repairs by courier from the opposite side of Ireland.
you know there are different LED emitters that come with this flashlight? which is yours? 6500K or 5000 Hi-CRI? it is marked on the box. you just didn't show us that part of the box. you just kept the front side of the box, obstinately, for the entire minute you kept the box in your hands. useful information on the box... sometimes. pity you weren't aware of that. just keep that in mind!
focusable "zoom" flashlights like that led lenser you showed are very inefficient and not very water and dust resistant. Not really what you want in a flashlight. A light with a quality led and optic will give you both a hotspot for long range and a nice spill of light so you can see around yourself and do closeup tasks. Thats why expensive and very bright lights arent zoomable, they dont need to be and its not a desireable design solution anyway. Its just good for marketing
I often visit forums, websites and flashlight channels that test the actual lumens, runtime and sometimes do durability tests. And Acebeam is one of the quality brands and worth the price.
what other light in that size sustains 1000 lumens for almost 2h with HCRI leds? Its the best you can really get, there are cheaper lights available but they wont be as efficient or have other drawbacks
Have a couple of the same slightly older acebeam model used for home, hunting, camping. A good quality, very powerful flashlight, can recommend.
I like that it comes with replacement O rings and the charge port cover. I would say the price isn't bad.
I get carried away and buy torches to often, that would fit in my pocket. Thanks
Xmas sweater FTW.
Could you make a video about your multi-mode work knife. It looks interesting.
Happy New Year 2024

Serious job just very easy to go missing and the price youd be sickened
Very nice but too expensive (£100.00) for occasional use.
If you want something similar, take a look at the Convoy S21E with an XHP 50.3.
It is steep price but I have a torch similar which I carry everywhere, Some don't use a torch so go for a cheaper version.
100$cad. So probably like 50£
78 pound not a hundred
got it on a sale for 65 euros
I use a Lenser myself, they're bright 😎

I've got a lot of respect for you're expetise in tool repair ....l but that's not a £100 product.
