- It's a bit of this and that really. Lost a couple of videos when my phone decided to die on me. Had to cram it all in before next month comes.
Hope you enjoy watching!
some excellent grabs there mate, that Saturn bundle was immense!
ahhh estpolis2 im after that and the 1st one
Cheers dude!
I'm still after Lufia 1 myself. I just get them when I get them. I don't plan my buys. That planning stuff costs money!
lovely additions there, especially the cube games, interesting to see the difference in cover art but the cardboard boxes in general are a nightmare for collectors
I've put off cases still. I know I need them, but I need to get them. I'm drawn to cardboard cases. They tend to be more attractive and it's great finding them in good condition.
Thanks for watching!
Some really nice Cube games. Ribbit King is a weird one. Playing Golf with Frogs is different. Dr Mario is now on my want list, didn't realise there was a Cube version.
Fun story. I actually watched the last Harry Potter film in Japan back in 2011 :p
I should probably watch them eh. I just get asked by Japanese kids if I know Harry Potter. It's innocent, but it's a bit annoying.
Yeah, that and David Beckham. "where are you from? England? Oh! David Beckham!"
I happened to pause the video right before you whipped out Harry Potter, got a bit trippy on resumption, I thought something was up with my broadband. I don't actually mind the Harry Potter films, particularly the last two, they're a good example of a well paced series of blockbusters spread out over ten years or so, they put the Hobbit films to shame with all their extra padding.
Cracking set of pickups, I got to play the PAL version of Lufia 2 when I rented it from Blockbuster as a youth. I'm not sure I've seen a UK copy since, started to make me doubt if I had actually played it.
I can't knock the quality of the Saturn or the GC bundles, all stellar titles. Chibi Robo is one I'm after for my PAL collection, you're a little robot who does the cleaning from what I've heard.
Mate. I shouldn't knock Harry Potter. I do need to watch them before I judge them. It's just the cast annoy me. The kids, their faces..
Lufia 2 PAL is a rarity. Beautiful purple box and cart. I absolutely love the box art for that release. If I were a millionaire I'd collect PAL SNES, but only then. That is the best box art for Lufia 2 imo though.
I played Chibi robo last night. It was excellent. Very quirky, interesting. It has beautiful graphics and is fun to play. You can't ask for more. Pretty pricey for a PAL release though. I recommend it though.
Thanks for comment dude.
nice pickups man i just started getting into imported japanese retro collection.i wish i live in japan so i have to collect on ebay nice pickups tho :D. keep making more vids man.
Thanks! It's handy being in Japan, yeah, but you can still do well with Japanese games from eBay. Buying GameCube games on auction on eBay is reasonable as they're not that popular yet.
Thanks for watching!
Redraw4444 yes they are really hard to come by but im do my best i started collecting ps1 and gamecube so far so yea.
Nice pickups... the Harry Potter passage was funny. What will you use to protect the Game Cube games? Is there special plastic cases for it?
Cheers. When I slowed the voice down it made me laugh so I kept it in there lol ;).
I don't think there are custom cases, but I know hard off and mandarake etc. all have plastic film cases. Perhaps I could find someone that could do that for me. Then I could open them one end when I want to play them and store them more safely.
Thanks for watching!
Surprised to see Guardian Heroes and Dracula X in a lot! Good for you! Chibi Robo is great! Thanks for visiting my channel. How long have you been in Japan? I was in Oita back in 2001.
It was a nice lot indeed, I never realized Guardian heroes was in the lot until it came to my house. They are quality titles, so I'm pleased. I enjoyed Chibirobo too. It's a very well made game.
I've been in Japan for just over a year. It's been fun so far. I think the plentitude of video games has made it a more rewarding stay, although I do have a family that keep me hanging around too..
In 2001 I was 17 dude, so that statement makes me feel like a spring chicken. I do know Oita though, but it's pretty far. 3-4 hours drive I believe from Fukuoka.
