Infinity Dave, I’m not sure for absolute certain, I just saw it on a steering wheel guide on RUclips. And I can see how the rocking system would feel uncomfortable or unnatural 😂
!! Quite a few new rims have now become available for the Thrustmaster bases. Ones that used to be base specific have now opened up for the whole family so have a look around before you buy !!
@@rexoid0800 f1 cars clutch is in the steering wheel at the back below the shifting paddles, how they don't have cluth , it have to be there for race starts or when the car spins ...etc
Stefan Gostic the tx 458 wheel? If it's the spider base no, if it is a tx base then yes. It uses the standard thrustmaster quick release.that works on tx, t300, t500, ts pc racer, sparco base and the new gt ps4 base.
Infinity Dave Where can I buy that wheel base? I want to switch from a controller to a wheel so I don't have a wheel base. I've only seen rigs and wheel bases together but obviously I don't want to spend money for a wheel I don't need... Thanks :)
The paddles on the rocking system are like the real life F1 wheels
Didn't know that. I still personally like the paddles not on a rocking system.

you are right all the f1 wheels have this rocking system.that way you can for example change settings on the wheel and up/downshift with the other
Love it got mine today massive improvement over tx leather edition wheel which I have also especially when using it on f1 2017
Simon Milner what is much better on the F1 add on over the tx leather edition wheel can you explain please?
Thanks helped me make up my mind I'm going to ask for it for my birthday

The paddles are a rocking system so u can up shift and down shift with one paddle
Yer I know m8, still prefer the individual paddle.
Grannyshifter ?!
@@laurasfar18 in real life some F1 wheels are like that.
Man that’s pretty cool. I’m glad I bought it for $115 new from amazon
i want it,but i dont know.its a lot of money just for another wheel
Works the way it is supposed to. Just Good
Another great video! Do you prefer this wheel or the 599 wheel?
As I race mainly formula cars, I would say this wheel is my preferred choice
Tbh I think it’s so expensive due to it has the Ferrari logo I ordered it yesterday of amazon for £150
That's expensive but awesome. I prefer my classical Momo.
Is this just an add on if so what are your adding on to sorry for question totally new to this
Hey, it is just an add on wheel for the Thrustmaster eco system. So bases like t300, tx, ts series all work with this wheel.
Is the lot of buttons and the rotator assignable?
Is it compatible with the tx racing wheel Ferrari 458 Italia edition?
Hi, yes it is
Do you know of this rim will work with GTSport
It will :)
Is it compatible with the t300 gt edition?
Yes it is :)
@@davebell771 thank god because i ordered both and had some doubts.anyway thanks
@@georgekoutsis8139 you will love the combo :)
Infinity Dave I really hope so,is it easy to get used to?I have never had a wheel before you see
George Koutsis How is it? :)
Is this a good idea for driving gt cars?
FullFledged2010 I’d say yeah since GT cars use open wheel style wheels
What kind of rig/seat do you have?
Hi David, I have a Trak racer formula One rig
Can i change F1 wheel on tmx pro ?
Sadly the tmx pro doesn't support the eco system of wheels. The F1 wheel won't work with it.
@@davebell771 and with the logitech g29 and t300 and t150?
@@klunssmurf5810 The T300 can use it, the other's you asked about can't.
@@davebell771 the normal t300 or t300 rs or both
Do you really need this having a T300RS and playing F1
It doesn't have a clutch?? Wtf how's that an f1 replica
Because its a replica of the 2011 F1 car which didn't have a clutch.
@@rexoid0800 f1 cars clutch is in the steering wheel at the back below the shifting paddles, how they don't have cluth , it have to be there for race starts or when the car spins ...etc
Is this force feedback
The steering wheel itself doesn't have ffb, the base it attaches to does :)
Infinity Dave cheers mate just looked into it do you have this wheel mate? And could you recommend a whole set up!? I.e base and pedals?
Arun Haines I would suggest the T300 / TX base or if you have a slightly higher budget the TS-PC, TS-XW and T-GT ;)
Do the buttons spin around when you press them?
Is this wheel compatible with the Ferrari 458 wheel? If I was to swap this for the 458 wheel, would it fit (quick release)??

Engine Failure old comment so you’ve probably figured it out by now 😂
How the fuck are you supposed to use your wheel's buttons if you got your eyes covered by VR? That inconvenient is a bummer
