They show a good picture in front but they recoverd it by increasing STT, STCG, LTCG. There is need for representation to Fin Minister against removal of indexation for long term assets. There is need for indextion in case of sale of properties otherwise it leads big tax outflow from our pockets. A BIG BLOW IN REAL STATE .

Sir I don't think your calculations corect For old process if LTCG is 10 lakhs first 1 lakh will be expemted and for remaning 9 lakhs 10% tax applicable(90000) but same if we consider new process 8.75 lakhs will be taxable at 12.5% which is 109375 Same you can view at the 10.52 sec of this video

Removing indexation benefit for long term capital assets is negative. It is especially horrible to pay such tax on sale of properties. They show a good picture in front but they recoverd it by increasing STT, STCG, LTCG. There is need for representation to Fin Minister against removal of indexation for long term assets. There is need for indextion in case of sale of properties otherwise it leads big tax outflow from our pockets. A BIG BLOW IN REAL STATE .

So, the 25k benefit from the exemption offsets the additional 2.5% LTCG. While it's not favorable for short-term capital gains, for long-term capital gains, it's not as bad as it might seem or be portrayed by others.

For old process if LTCG is 10 lakhs first 1 lakh will be expemted and for remaning 9 lakhs 10% tax applicable(90000) but same if we consider new process 8.75 lakhs will be taxable at 12.5% which is 109375

So many people are losing so much money but still they think they recover and doing the trading. How they can stop for the stt mostly we dont check this stt. So to stop it from myside I disabled the F&O trading option .
