This was the first episode of this series of journey across Japan that really killed it in my opinion. Complete laughfest that felt like oldschool JAJ. The carpool karaoke completely broke me hahaha. Fantastic content. Poor Connor though he always gets the torture part of any trip lmao. Thanks so much team Abroad in Japan, classic episode already with all the grunts .😂

I feel like Chris and Connor have the best chemistry. I've been critical of the comedy in Abroad in Japan feeling a bit forced at times, but I think the way Connor and Chris bounce of each other feels really natural and refreshing.
yeah I agree, ryotaro clicks well too, i like when it seems like a slice of life, chatting is good and it's not that common in the videos any more
@@theblastedfrench I agree. I really enjoy these series but I do feel a bit nostalgic for the down-to-earth feel of the original journey. Chris and Connor do occasionally do IRL streams, which is mostly just them chatting and wondering around which is a lot of fun

Connor definitely deserves the win after everything he went through on that island. This is why you need to properly prepare for camping trips, it could've been so much worse than it already was. That aquarium seems cruel, when they looked like they were just swimming around before being frozen.
I would pay for the raw footage of the morning on the island after that colder night. The mood in the air must have been sooo bad 😂

I love this Christmas (Journey Across Japan: Non-Stop-North) series so much. Gonna be sad when it ends. Lots of good vibes!
I love this episode! A mix between Journey Across Japan and Wacky Weekend with the trip to different places and CDawgVA suffering (and of course, taking a bath). It also feels more like a regular episode of JAJ cause it didn't feel like they were rushing to get from one place to the next.
I dunno how to feel about the ice aquarium. Just the idea of looking at frozen fishes on basically museum display feels weird. Connor bought a bunch of Cinnamorolls! I was wondering if he'd get some if he came across any and he got so much lol. I like what Chris did with the front of the car although they should've tried to decorate the backseat with Cinnamorolls so Chris had an audience for his singing in the end. I agree that the dancing duck is cute!
I'm excited for the next episode!
Of course Connor bought tons of Cinnamonroll stuff that I'm sure he's definitely not going to turn around and send to Mouse.

As an American, I found it truly funny that Connor bought a gun when Chris disregarded the light up machine gun because it wasn’t enough fun! And I find pigs to be funny animals, especially online. So, since Connor bought both a gun and an annoying pig toy, not to mention his Cinnamon Roll Tax being paid for the episode, Connor gets my point of approval as the winner of the challenge!
Gold at the end was a beautiful touch ngl, loved that song since I played vice city so many years ago. I thank that game (and my dad) for my current music taste, it's great.

Home Sweet Home! It's a little surreal, but I used to work about 10 minutes up the road from that Don Quijote. Seeing the jump cuts between there, and the on ramp to E45 gives me some idea of how often on a trip you put yourself in front of the camera.
