SLJ doesn't think Windu is dead either. per a recent interview vid where he's talking about various movie roles. ;)

I like that you do this as a father & son thing, great way to spend time together and creating something! Especially with such a brilliant guest as Marc. Always love to hear from him sice the Fatman Podcast doesn't air that offen anymore. So, keep up the good work, guys. Best regards from Germany!

Marc Bernardin is a true gent for giving this interview a shout out in his live show with Kevin Smith.
And now I really need to get into Adora and the Distance.

    Hi guys :) Happy Sunday!
That's neat how you were able to have Marc Bernardin :) Have you had other comic book writers on here besides Marc Bernardin, Alyssa Wong, and Daniel Jose Older? :) I think it would be cool to see even more :).
LOL! His first comments were hilarious :).
I didn't see much of Goodfellas. I want to see more of it too :).
Good point about him being "allegedly killed". We never saw his body. So, I agree that there is potential for him to return to a show or film :).
I haven't seen Midnight Run, but I want to. It's rad how he drew from it and James Bond's film structure. :D. I'm interested in reading the Mace Windu books :).
It's cool how the comic reminded Kerwin about Casino Royale. :)
LOL I love the jokes about the license.
    I love Casino Royale :].
Makes sense that he has more humor. When we are younger, it's easier to be hopeful or light-hearted about the world in general.
I concur - stories need conflict. It sounds like Azita and Mace have great dialogue and well written conflict too.
    Mace's quest/mission is intriguing.
Good point. Even when we see a body in a show, it doesn't mean they're dead in the show. I think that happened in Winter Soldier with Fury. We saw him supposedly "die". We saw his body. However, he wasn't really dead. So, I agree that Mace can be brought back, especially since we didn't see Mace's body in the film (and I'd be fine with him returning too).
Struggles with faith are definitely a huge and relatable part of Star Wars.
    I'm even more intrigued now.
I didn't hear of Starlog. I wish I knew of it. I think I would've loved it :). That's so cool that he loved working there and how it was made out of love.
I love the geek golden age that Marc Bernardin referenced :). That's when I began getting into geekdom :).
Excellent point about T'Challa. I didn't think about it as much at the time (about T'Challa being passive), but Marc Bernardin makes solid points.
I want to read Adora. I'll check it out. I just reserved a copy of it from my library. Marc's description of it and how he was inspired by his daughter is very heartfelt and it moved me. I'm excited to read it! We need more books like Adora (I second Kerwin) :).
Excellent interview! You both ask great questions and I love how meaningful and awesome each interview is. Take care.

Hey FSG fam!!! Great conversation here. Loved Marc’s perspectives as a writer on the importance of characters who can interact with and sometimes disagree with the main character. Interesting to think of the Bond inspiration as well. I totally agree, Peggy Carter as M is a great head cannon.
Thanks again to the amazing Tanya, Kerwin, Keith and Maceo. Keep up the important work and thank you so much!!!
