Kerwin and Keith Yarde, father-and-son duo, took their Star Wars fandom a step further in March 2021 by launching a podcast series and RUclips channel to share with the larger Star Wars community. What they enjoy most about their experience is meeting people from all over the world who are as enthralled by the nearly fifty-year-old space saga as they are. Their podcast and channel are family-friendly, allowing generations to come together, share ideas, and have fun. Really enjoyed this series with episode 7 being the standout. I suspect I'll like it even more upon rewatch, as I was a little underwhelmed by the finale (episode 8 felt so much like the story had finished).
HELLO THERE to the Father Son family! Its been a long while but I wanted to share that this episode is another incredible example of your heart and generosity and why you are so needed in our fandom. I have not seen any of Acolyte (yet) but I truly appreciated this honest discussion that also, does not take anything away from the series. It takes a whole lot of wisdom to be able to say "It was not for me" without any malicious comments. Truly appreciate that. I also LOVE that you took a positive spin here and turned around what could have been a discussion about what you dont like and instead posed a great question: "If we were in charge of Lucasfilm, what would we make or green light?" GREAT way to look at it. And I appreciated the tribute to James Earl Jones. I have not seen Empire of Dreams but certainly look forward to watching it, since it comes recommended from one of my favorite voices in the SW fandom galaxy, Kerwin! Sending love to you all! and cant wait to listen to more episodes again soon. You are truly keeping some powerful good in our corner of the galaxy and its much appreciated!
Hello MaryB, your words are heartwarming. We are so excited whenever we hear from you. You are an inspiration for us and you motivate us to keep going! We will continue to be here, thanks to people like you. We're just here to have candid discussions and have fun. We are very excited for what's coming. Please continue to stay in touch. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I did finish. Great interview. Keith brought in the hard questions, love it.
Had to stop around 34 minutes in. Young Jedi Knights was a 14 book YA series that started in 1995 through 1998. Jedi Apprentice and The Last of Jedi series could also easily fall under YA or at least MG. YA was not new with Disney, though they may have wanted a new category for it.
Rewatching now 🎉
I do like non-linear storytelling, it's a great way to show how someone like Lilia experiences life. It also works very well for time-travellers, like Dr Who.
Rewatching this now🤘
I'm hoping Bohner will now pop up in every MCU series!
I keep thinking that Mephisto won't show up, but he's just been introduced in a Marvel game, so I guess all bets are off now.
Agree with A.H.Pilot - recognize and treat the inappropriate comments as "ignorance".
What a delight to find this interview with the remarkable Ann Hobson Pilot!
Teen being Agatha's son seems too obvious, so I'm leaning towards him being Billy. However, I can't see Mephisto showing up, having (a version of) the Devil in a Disney series seems like a step too far, even though it makes sense for this story.
Rogue One is the best of all the Star Wars films. It proved that a good SW film can still be made, if producers do more than treat it like a cash cow. Father Son Galaxy rocks!
Yes, we need more films like Rogue One.
@@JohnLv-p2k Thank you!
Star Wars is dead, KK killed it. The stuff on the screen now, it's just sci fi, bad sci fi, not Star Wars. Star Wars ended as a viable property in 2012.
We can't give up hope.
Cool discussion
Thank you
@fathersongalaxy No problem 😁
Great interview
🎉
Charlie! A pleasure!
Awesome!!!
SLJ doesn't think Windu is dead either. per a recent interview vid where he's talking about various movie roles. ;)
Great interview! Thanks for giving us this special look into Billy Dee. I loved learning about the importance he places on being eclectic and the focus on always incorporating (versus excluding) more nuance into his work. This made my week 😊
@@doctorsteph We’re glad you enjoyed. Thank you
Hey guys :) Awesome question, Keith. It would've been cool if they got to choose who they got to play. That's hilarious how one friend confused Tony for Gaten. Haha Glad they had fun :) :). Nice question as always. Kudos :) Full of Sith is a fantastic podcast name :D. Sounds like they balanced out light and dark parts well :). Hehe cool that it references much of the Star Wars universe and stories. Great video. Kudos. Have a fantastic weekend!
😁😁😁👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great interview 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
your boy knows what he's talking about. I couldn't even invest enough attention or care to pick up on as many things as he did and i watched the whole thing.
Very cool! Haha good question. I wish they kept the Poe Dameron part. Best parker. LOL. That is rad. They should post a deleted scene video (Disney should). Glad you got to interview the cast and crew for Lego Star Wars (I need to watch the video you shared last night).
Awesome!

@@Gregmerica Thank you!
The fight scenes are the only portions I will rewatch from this. They were amazing!
@@elizabeththomas8657 Yes, the fight scenes are fantastic.
Never really clicked with the show, but I was intrigued to see where it would go in a second season. It did feel like a show made by first-timers and there's no way that budget made it on to the screen. I do hope we get more SW away from the Skywalkers (and maybe with less Jedi) as there is a massive universe out there waiting to be explored... perhaps by an archaeologist ;)
@@alfje5492 I agree with your comments. There are so many great Star Wars characters and books with various stories to tell.
Thanks again Guys 🙏
@@ace360 Thank you
yes! 🙌

Oh wow, I am so excited for this!! Some of the best people in this fandom teaming up, count me in! 🙌🏼
Hey Kerwin, Tanya, Keith, and Maceo! Cool roundtable! I think it is great how Dee Bradley Baker has a site that has advice about how to get into the industry. I agree that Star Wars has wide appeal. I like how there is content for kids as well as adults. You both asked a great question. I love how some shows such as Young Jedi Adventures have life lessons. He is right. Confidence is critical. I have struggled w/that too. Dee's points resonate w/me, esp since support is key and we particularly need confidence during the times where we struggle. Intriguing points about caring for his voice. That reminds me about how crucial self care is :). Wonderful video. Have a nice day!
Hey guys! Congratulations on the move! That is awesome how Lucasfilm gave some gifts to you :) The box is rad :). The backpack is great. Neat mini action figures. Cool Vader toy also. Awesome Lego set! Rad funko pop. Haha neat cards!! :D Awesome box! Cool hot sauce too. A cookbook too (and socks)? Very cool. That apron is one of the most rad ones I've ever seen. I never thought I would ever see a Build a Vader bear lol Nice robot! :) You got some great gifts! Have a good week 😃
Thank you Alex!
