I love Hope because of Annette's portrayal. Her acting on scenes with Doc is flawless and I feel her emotions. Happy with the amount of scenes she's in and looking forward to more Hope-Doc moments next season!

Wow I'm a little surprised by all the negative comments, I think A.O. is fantastic in the series. And, I'd love to look half as fit and youthful as her when I am her age. I find her to be an inspiration.

I've always loved Annette O'Toole's work. If she's in it, I'll watch it. Enjoying her in this role very much - even though I can't say I love the character. Her likability makes it easier to endure Hope and her busy body tendencies.

I think that she has aged gracefully and not gone under the knife like they all do. Its not common to see holywood stars looking their age. I say good on her.

Die Rolle zeigt mal wieder was dabei heraus kommt,sehr eindringlich übrigens.Wenn man sich um Sachen kümmert die einen nichts angehen.Auch wenn man es vermeindlich gut meint.
ugh, she's the worst- both the character and the acting. almost kept me from finishing the series, but Jack and Mel are too good.

Hope the character is too annoying. It's not the annoying where I am still interested in her contribution to the story, its annoying to the point where I tune out every time she comes on screen. It's hard to pay attention to the storyline when her character is acting so ridiculous and Annette's portrayal of this character is , for a lack of a better word, spastic. Every time she comes in the scene you really start to believe the town is made up of 6 people - the main characters, her story is so uninteresting, she is bitter about her husband's infidelity than next minute they are besties, she makes everyone in town hate her and is sad when she is alone, she acts like she is not busy (by inserting herself in other peoples business) but meanwhile she is a busy major, like what is going on? It's like Annette improvises every time she is on screen. Lazy scriptwriting and directing. Hate this character - cheapening a really good storyline.
I have watched the whole series so far, she is the worst of the actresses in the show. Trying to hard, needs to calm it down a bit.
