It is completely unprofessional for a therapist to have any relationship with a client outside of their sessions. Thats crazy.
There are just certain people, who become great NFL talents BECAUSE of their anti-social personality. Basically, they just mean AF. Bill Romanowski comes to mind as another. Unfortunately, football is a team game, and there are a lot of people to deal with.

I went to high school with him. I got on varsity a year after he graduated and i remember he was borderline uncontrollable by coaches even back then. Didn’t shock me he became how he did in the NFL. Sad really, the hometown star became the biggest signing bust in NFL history.

flemlo, obviously a common theme in ALOT of these videos Is lack of mental help. Most these guys come from the streets and suffer from trauma. A lot of future athletes I'm sure will watch these videos.. I would appreciate it if you talk more about mental health and be an advocate. It's sad people killing themselves and others, and ruining lives.

Honestly dude in essence football is just too brut of a sport. All them hard hits to the head. Look at Junior Seau’s story. Check out his 30/30 special on ESPN+. That documentary made me cry. I was a big football fan. Not anymore. It exudes too much toxic masculinity.

This. There’s still a long way to go with mental health awareness in sports. I didn’t realize just how bad it was until I saw how divisive Dak Prescott’s comments on depression were not long ago. The fact that his comments were divisive at all is pretty eye-opening

THIS. This doesn’t get talked about enough in sports in general, but ESPECIALLY rough-and-tumble sports like American football, hockey, and combat sports like boxing and M.M.A. (the latter two of which are FAR worse when it comes to toxic masculinity and astounding lack of comprehensive education & awareness of mental and emotional health). :(

I got to meet him in the summer of 2011. He was my cousin's neighbor in Knoxville. I got to go to his 30th birthday party (which was held at his house and he had a beautiful pool/outdoor grill setup. The pool looked like the movie "Clueless" with the waterfall and his mom was grilling the food.) He also threw a 4th of July party and invited us on his yacht (named "The Good Life") we had to take off our shoes before going onto the yacht and it had one of the nicest bathrooms ever! I took pictures of the outside of the yacht but didn't take pictures of the 30th birthday or inside the yacht because I was a guest of a guest.
He was very kind and welcoming to us all and didn't act like he was better than us. He was always kind to my cousin and me and our group of friends!
