I love learning about painting flowers as you have been showing. You must remember to think about light refraction when painting the stems in the water - the stems appear to be bent or to not match up.

One minor thing....the stems in the water should have a little bit of an offset as it passes through the glass at the top, and through the water in the vase.. You have so many of them though it really isn't that noticeable

Always love your work...but the uneven vase bothers me lol. I also paint and love acrylics. When I do a vase I paint both sides at once with a brush in each hand, that way I do get it even.

You mentioned glazing, skipped that part.

Why we don't see his reference?
I usually do not show my reference, unless I am painting from a photo that I have taken. That is because my compositions are pieced together from different elements of paintings/photos.
