My next project will be my biggest ever 😳… and it will be either one of my biggest fails or one of the greatest things ever 🙈… wish me luck!!!
For info on my upcoming exhibition head over to alpayefe.com
🙃❤
never been to an exhibition, will there be an entrance fee? and is the vernissage open for everybody?
I’m sure you won’t fail! You always amaze me with your work! Good luck 😊
I love the subject. It doesn't get cooler than a feminine heroine in armor. And I think the composition is perfect. I'm excited to see more of the exhibition! I can only imagine what would complement this. You know you're already killing it right? 😉 I wish I could see it in person!
i often think that i will fail, i think its artist's disease or.. fear)))))
I like that you said that you don’t admit things because there’s no need to feel uncomfortable for how we do our art and what resources and skills we use. Also this painting is stunning and I love your narration. You’re my favorite RUclipsr. I watch you more than any other
It really is his narration. I mean, I love his art and technique, but it's his words and support that really make me feel like I can do it too.
Varios types of "projection" have been in use for hundreds of years....
You can trace a drawing onto a canvas with extreme detail, but if you don’t know how to paint, your work won’t look good. That’s what people don’t understand. It’s true that the likeness can be much better with a projector, but as you said, the objective is to make things flow as smooth as possible. Exercising your drawing skills to capture likeness is just one of the many sides of art making. Congratulations man, your paintings are so vibrant and elegant 🙌🏽
Why its important what propel says its important to work for self and getting my plaisair from my art work
rosamente,,, lets connected, i Love drawing,,,
Yesss… so true! My students were stunned that artists use projectors. I tell them that if you want to make a living from selling your art, then use the tools available along with your creative problem solving and technical skill! Continue to practice drawing skills from observation because developing that eye to hand connection is incredibly important in many facets of art. I actually think the likeness in portraiture comes into play with all of the nuances that the projector does not help transfer, but instead the artist with a trained eye and technical ability is able to capture so methodically.
@@jldavis07 HUh? When I was in art school there were all sorts of projectors.... The work well if you don't wanna bother with a grid or have a large surface and want to get the proportions just right.... Sigh... Young People, Am I Right....
@@alejandromolinac What exactly do you use a projector for if you are painting and the medium medium therefore..paint..oil or watercolor or whatever..what you are projecting and why?
You’re one of my favourite artist. I love how vibrant and purposeful your paintings always turn out to be. They have the type of delicacy that I haven’t seen in any other persons work. Your narrations are helpful and calming and that paired with clips of your process makes for such a peaceful video. I’m so happy I found your channel
Какими красками он рисует?
"tag someone in the comments down below who's scared of projectors" :DDDDDDDDD I just had to laugh so hard
I'm very much enjoying your style of painting with the intentional imperfections. It adds so much character and helps you appreciate that it is a painting, not a photograph.
I confess that I really like your videos. You are truly and artist, not only with the brush but with the camera, microphone, and video editing. I work in a completely different field but I am certain I want to learn from you while I enjoy such wonderful craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing this with us! 😊
Thanks so much for the nice comment, really makes my day 😊
I found the same portrait picture you painted in this video about a month ago. You beat me to it.
You are the greatest!!
Sometimes silent demonstration like this is more impactful! Beautiful. Thank you.
4:15 “a few seconds” it’s like a day for me…
This is beyond gorgeous!! Her skin is soooooooooo membrane like especially around the jaws. It's friggin awesoooome. Also really love the white and blue. so elegant
I've been kind of missing my spark recently. I just didn't have any motivation to pick up a brush and paint something, but you are helping me find it again
From where you learn painting. Every time I watch your vids it inspires me soo much I really want to pursue art as my profession.
I’m a self taught artist :)
@@AlpayEfe Doesn't seem like it🤯 Your narration sounds pitch-perfectly proficient. And good luck with your upcoming project may the Lord help you to fly high 💛

So much of life is in the "execution." My compliment to you: Nice execution!
I *love* round canvases. I just started painting a couple of years ago, and for whatever reason, I've gravitated toward round canvases from the start. I've done square and rectangular, but the vast majority -- especially those I've actually finished -- are round. Can't explain why, I just love them! Glad to see them getting some love here.
You're one of my favourite YT artists. Not only do you offer fantastic advice, I love how soothing your videos are. Your painting is beautiful as always :)
I think this is one of my favorite paintings you made so far, there's just something about the textures and the look on her face on that round canvas... I wish you made prints, they look truly stunning
Wow, I love how this painting turned out! I hope so much that you will share more of your paintings from your upcoming Exhibition. That would be amazing for all of us who are not able to travel right now to attend your show. Also I would love to hear you speak more on how you've come to believe in yourself as an artist, and how to build self-confidence and be more bold in your paintings and approach to creating art. Are there specific exercises and practices you can do that you would recommend? Thank you so much for sharing!
What's a splendid beauty! You move the brush so precisely and smart. These movements are like a calligraphy.
Probably the Best compliment that any professional can receive from an admirer, in my opinion, is that "You Make it Look Easy". Everything about the finished product is absolutely stunning, even the circular canvas. Very well done, Sir. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
Brilliant and ballsy to use white as your background. Bravo! Well done!
Very satisfying to watch where you brush, and how. Thanks for posting. Tell us more about your exhibition!
I think this is so beautiful. I so enjoy your paintings and chat. Once your show is up it would be lovely to see all the pieces - for this of us that won't be able to travel so far.
Always so inspiring, honest and informative; and I love that armor. I'm working on piece with lots of skin tones at the moment so was particularly heartened to hear your thoughts on that. For that alone, thank you.
Love the concept of this painting. Thanks for sure your talents with the rest of us. Blessings.
Awesome work!👍🏻I always enjoy it, when I watch a video of yours & was so happy to see these flowers - having the same since spring in my kitchen and love their blossoms so much 😍 Really great painting and wishing you lots of joy for preparing for the exhibition :)

I would love to see this version of canvas prep! How smooth is the end result? I love a surface with a little tooth.
Love love love this painting! And I loved watching the entire process. This is definitely a patience project. I need to find my patience again and start painting bigger and more detailed things. Again, gorgeous!!

Love it , just fabulous, love the big circular canvas. Myself I've only painted on very large canvas, in fact I'm not even sure I can make small paintings...good luck at yr show! U are great!!
Watching you painting is as compelling and enjoyable as listening to you narrating the whole process. You won a sub already.
I love this painting. The female knight asthetics is so cool. Powerful, protective, soft, feminine... I just love it 😍
Love your color choices! Her face includes so many color and it looks so natural. Wow you did a great job. Thanks❤
Extraordinary work, as always!😍
Amazing video, Alpay! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers from Brazil!
I think the rub with projectors is that some people use projectors as a crutch because they don't want to bother with learning to draw. Personally I don't really even have a problem with people doing that, because I think gatekeeping in art is dumb, but I think the art suffers if they skip fundamentals.
gorgeous artwork
Please show your preparations on a circle Canvas , love see how this done .
I also would love to see this.
Absolutely stunning paint.. definably would love to see more of this paintings❤🙌👏
Absolutely mesmerizing. The cadence of your speech is so understandable and soothing.
Beautiful modern realistic painting! I'm glad I discovered this channel 🙏
aaaaaw I'm in Germany and not that far from Essen and got so exited when you talked about the exhibition, only to find out that it closed yesterday. Sad I couldn't be there, but I hope you had a great time and got out of it what you were hoping to :)
Congratulations on the show! You deserve it! This is a beautiful work and the accompanying video was gorgeous as well. The idea that artists weren't using visual gags and helpful creations to create is ridiculous. Camera Lucia, Camera Obscura. Co'mon folks.
This is a love painting! I hope your show goes excellently. Too bad I live on the other side of the world or I'd love to go. The armor is my favorite part ✨
Your style is astonishing ❤, this painting is beautiful. I love it 🥰
Wow, my mind is blown
I love the contrast of beauty and the armor. Best wishes for your first solo show! Take care! Tschüß!!

Yes, very yes, please show us more from this series!
I recommend the simple, sweet software PureRef for having multiple references at once :) It's an art lifesaver. You can just drag and drop images into it, zoom into specific images by double clicking, and arrange to your heart's content! :D
Thanks for the video!
Unbelievable work the harmony and softness is incredible almost like you could reach through the painting and touch her.
I’m curious what kind of paints were you using?
A bunch of brands actually… Schmincke, Rembrandt, sennelier, Michael Harding

@@AlpayEfe Well your RUclips videos alone are a work of art, I know how pain staking and time consuming it can be.. planning, editing, camera angles, watching how you do everything is a learning experience, I like to learn from the best, Alot of people dont care or think about all of the extra small things. But I appreciate it brother, and thank you for replying to me.
