  • The Ninja Foodi 6 - 1 has some great technology that truly improves your cooking experience. One of the features that often gets overlooked in products like this is the dehydration mode. There are so many great things you can make with dehydration mode, from custom seasonings to healthy snacks for the family. In this video I make a custom pepper but you could use this process on all types of foods. Dehydrating can truly be a healthy food option for you and your family. I hope you try it out and tell me all about it.

Great video... much Appreciated. Have not bought my NINJA yet... but was already interested in this air dryer because of the hydration feature and wanted to see the option used. Thanks so much for that. I am a Gardiner much like you.. and my son loves hot spices. I will be making my own hot spices now, and going to pur have this air fryer today. I have an intapot I love, this Ninja will now go right up beside my ista. Not all devices get the honor of counter top privilege.
Thanks great Video and tips. I surely would have Pepper sprayed myself as I would have used my coffee grinder which does not have the clear lid. Will alo now purchase your grinder suggestion as I also don't want the risk of my spices tasting like coffee.
    Thanks Yvonne

You mention you do two cycles at 8 hours each @8:19. So is the total time 16hrs?

Will this make the Ninja smell/taste like peppers after you dehydrate them. I have the 8 in one and I use it all the time for baking and air frying and was worried about my food tasting/smelling like peppers afterwards.

That's a great question and the answer is not at all. Clean it like normal and you will be fine. Thank you for the question and watching the video. I've been out for a bit dealing with a little medical issue but I'm back on the grind. Please subscribe to the channel, like and share the videos you find interesting. Thank you again for the question and watching. Good luck with the Ninja, I want to hear how things work out.
