    I wish we could share pics on RUclips. Lion Brand Ferris Wheel yarn works fabulous with this pattern. I have made several cancer hats using this pattern. They are a huge hit. Try the Ferris wheel or any gradiant cake yarn. Thank you thank you for sharing this pattern!!

    Beautiful and I like the way u close the top if your going to put a pom pom on top u. Can tie it up with that string inside so it won't fall off I like to make my pom pom out of the yarn I used to make a hat

    I have been catching up on your videos and have found your tutorials easy to follow. Many of your patterns are easy enough for me to understand and follow (I am a beginner/intermediate). So you’ve gained a new subscriber here. I actually watched and followed your Elizabeth tutorial many, many times as I made it and completed it yesterday to give to my daughter as a Christmas gift. She loves beanies, and I will probably make the Rachel slouch for her.

    Love the beanie. Changed the brim. I don't think I've ever had a more unpleasant experience crocheting as I did with that brim/band. And it's a very beautiful brim with lots of give. Now this is my experience. I'm sure I'm probably the only one who suffered through that portion of the project. So please do not take offense and I hope others do not either. Otherwise, very nice beanie - warm and pretty. I have a lot of Landscapes yarn and have already made at least 15 beanies with matching scarves already. I will finish off my supply with this beanie pattern with the matching scarves. Thank you!!! *Happy Subscriber*

      I’m glad you enjoyed (most!) of the pattern :) yes the slip stitch brim can be challenging especially in the landscapes yarn! Other brim styles are great! Thank you so much for subscribing!

      I struggle with the slst brim as well. I got SO frustrated. I ended up just doing SC in the back loop. Worked out quite nice. About to start my second one.

    I'm stuck on row 14, first dec round. I have 4 stitches at end, so can't do the 6 pattern stitches plus decrease. Tried to just do the regular pattern for them, but them rd 15 didn't work out right. Is the pd pattern different/corrected? I have the correct amount of stitches after rd 13.

    Hey Rachel, this is a beautiful hat, and guess what arrived just this morning? Yeay! Landscape! I’ve been making lots of hats for other people, but I bought two different colour ways in the Landscape, this is mine!! Any clue as to when we’ll see a scarf or cowl? Thanks so much, you’ve played another ace! X

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  5 лет назад +1

      The scarf is scheduled for Friday morning at 9am EST :) you’ll need 4 balls to make it 66 inches long and add a fringe

    • @chrissiewindsor
      @chrissiewindsor 5 лет назад

      If I order an extra ball & do the hat first, or, as I said earlier, make a cowl or a narrower infinity scarf, I might get away with the 3. Love will find a way!

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  5 лет назад

      chrissie hardman - sounds great! I will also have an infinity cowl using three balls of the Landscapes next week (Wednesday) but it’s worked in a different stitch :)

    Does anyone know of the stitch count would be the same if using a light 3 weight yarn? Specifically mandala?

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  5 лет назад +2

      For the Mandala I think you will probably want to add more stitches - you can adjust the count by adding multiples of 2 :)

      Rich Textures Crochet hey there again 😁
      I made your hat! I used I love this yarn in a solid color gray for the brim and variegated for the body. Also, I used a 6mm Susan Bates hook and made sc rows in the back loop for the brim and did 52 rows. It only measured about 14 in but the stretch was great. Nice and comfortably snug. I made 2 less rows on the body before the decease rows so it would fit perfectly on my head.
      Thnks so much for this pattern. It’s a wonderfully textured stitch. I look forward to making more of your patterns. In addition, I did check out your Instagram and followed you. I’ll post a hashtag pic of mine and tag you. Thnks again! Have a Happy Holiday Season!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻😉☺️

    Why do you turn the work since this is worked in the round?

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  5 лет назад

      Because of the way the seed stitch is worked - if you do not turn at the end of each round than the dc does not have the same slant or the same finished look
