One point lesson on Indonesian: When you refer to the person you speak with, using 'kamu' is often deemed rude especially to strangers and people who seem older than you. You usually use the word 'bapak' (sir) or 'ibu' (ma'am) or kak (spelled 'ka', meaning big bro/big sis). What are you doing? --> is not "Kamu sedang apa?" but it's better to use "Bapak sedang apa?". It's a small thing, really, but you'll get even more respect if you apply this. Great video, Tommy!! Thank you for visiting.

Bu, mas, mbak, dan tdk pnggil nama bg yg sdh kenal, ini berbeda dg org bali atau sunda prefer pnggil nama bg yg sudah kenal, jika stranger ckup pak, bu, bli, mbok, teh, akang, aa, begitu jg di Lampung sumatera sekitar nya

Anyways, it’s nice that you got yourself new drinking buddies.
I do need to point out some things:
1.) Majapahit was not the last Hindu-Buddhist kingdom to fall, in Java alone there was Blambangan that only collapsed in the 18th century.
2.) Bali was not the only escape route for the loyalists of the Majapahit empire, those who resisted Islamization were also driven uphill to Tengger Highlands, East Java. If you go to Mt Bromo, you’ll encounter the local Hindus there.
3.) There’s no such thing as a “Muslim village”, at least not in this context. It’s just a village, the people who live there can be of any creed.
Thank you for visiting Trowulan, it’s not a popular attraction even for local Indonesians.
