How to set up finger print sensor lock on any Dell Laptop

- Hi guys, today I am going to show you how to set up fingerprint sensor on any Dell laptop.
It is sometimes tricky to find the right software that is needed for this sensor to work. Remember to install these two softwares:
1) Dell Data Protection Security Tools System
2) Dell Control Vault
Please install the updated version from this link if you are using Dell latitude 7480:

In this model, that is the fingerprint sensor. The location might vary depending on the model.
NFC mobile symbol was hiding because I have pasted sticker in around keyboard now fingerprint not working and when I try to remove the sticker NFC Symbol also removing (Symbol Not able to see It was pasted with sticker) what can I do.

The sensor position will vary in between vendors and model. The best way to check is to check the manual. You can google the model number or provide it here and I can ket you know. Hope it helps :)

I assume the manual may be wrong if we both have 7290s and maybe there is no fingerprint sensor

If this model has fingerprint sensor, the process should be similar. You just need to install the right drivers.

i dont have the things on device manager
Double check in device manager if you have the drivers installed.

@@imranniazi777 Hi Imran, it is weird that you did not get anything in the device manager. Please uninstall the driver by going to device manager and then follow the below steps. This will solve your problem unless your sensor is faulty.
